I had to come read this one after seeing your other fic, another good one! I wish like crazy that there would've been more scenes between Spock coming back with Khan and Jim waking, so I really enjoyed both of these. Thanks!

Are you a fan of Harry Potter? The line in yot story (if not for the blood of an enemy, forcibly taken) reminds me of when Harry and Voldemort are in the graveyard during Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Wormtail takes some of Harry's blood, and says something like that. I love this story, it's very well written and amazing.

That was great and touching and you should totally make it 2 shot with Kirk waking to all of them being there.

...I caught that Harry Potter reference.

I liked it a lot. It wasn't super deep but it gave me warm fuzzies at the end.

Obviously you are a Potter fan as well as ST. I chuckled at the well placed and accurate usage of the "stolen" line. It is a lovely one shot and the closing line caps it perfectly.
