I've been a Star Trek fan from the first episode in the 60's--Spock and Kirk and crew were my childhood companions!

In my adult life I teach high school--yes, my classroom has lots of Star Trek posters--but it also has plenty of hilarious Demotivational posters, too, from , which helps a bit with my "cool factor" (which needs lots of help). It's quite fun to watch a new generation of Trek fans take to the rebooted movie.

I have also written a TOS story, "Changelings," based on the episode "The Changeling," where the damaged probe Nomad wipes Uhura's memory, and I've finished a second TOS story, "Sum of the Parts," which is an account of the first time the Enterprise tangles with the Nexus.
