This is a beautiful peice. A tragedy. I would have wished that Turel would have found his destiny and place in his world just like what happened to Spock.

This amazing story was recommended to me by a fantastic authoress Mira-Jade. I have loved Spock/Uhura as a "one true pairing" since day #1 and you have done them justice! Your worldbuilding and the delightful and realistic details you give to their journey as well as to Sarek/Amanda has been a true and utter joy to read!
You have the nuances of discovery and triumph that are part and parcel of any romance down to an art and science, and the Vulcan inner personality/motivations most endearingly portrayed (LOL!)
It has been a sheer privilege to self-indulge this way, and I adore S/U even more now than before, as a result.
I will also be sure to develop my own current and future S/A and S/U stories with some of the same unique intricacies. :)

A lovely series of vignettes that whetted my appetite for several of your other stories! You taught me new words :), and painted a great picture of Amanda and Sarek. You beautifully illustrated the difficulties of navigating an intercultural marriage while also showing their deep love and respect for each other, and their mutual affection and commitment to their sons. Really nice job incorporating canon. Well done! Thanks for sharing this, and keep writing, even if people aren’t giving you all the feedback you might desire. You’re a great writer and you can trust your instincts. :)

Oh, and I love the idea of Vulcan reacting to chocolate like we react to alcohol!

A fantastic chapter from Sarek’s point of view! I’ve enjoyed this whole story, and this chapter stood out.

I loved the idea of pregnancy conferring sentience. I figured it out just a little bit before Amanda did. And I only imagine how the Vulcan delegation handled the fact that only a pregnant female human could negotiate on their behalf. :)

It's weird that Spock spoke so much about his personal life to people. But it was nice how the story related to each situation.

I have enjoyed reading this story so much!

I never really felt like I knew Amanda well. But after reading this story she has come alive. Instead of just seeing her as just Spock's mother I can now see her as a well rounded fully fleshed out person. You have such a way with words that it feels like I'm not reading but watching a movie in my head.

I'm really sorry the story is over now but luckily for me you have written more stories! Please keep writing! :)

I loved this story until the end where you made me feel and I was sas, lol. I kind of wish this had been an AU where Spock's mom lives and she meets Uhura and all the gushy warm , honestly this was amazing writing, I loved every moment, even when you switched it up and Sarek told a couple of stories. I especially enjoyed how you wove it into your other stories! Now I'll have to go and read about the disciplinary hearing and check out your other SA and SU fic.

That was a brilliant maneuver. I see now (other than appearance) how Spock fell for Uhura.
