Your trilogy and its prequel - "What We Think We Know" have consumed me for the last 24 hours. I blazed through all of your stories and I am just amazed at your writing. You are so incredibly gifted.

I like the way to show their flaws, it makes us able to see our own short comings. Great story.

You depiction of Jerrod as a clever sociopath and Nyota’s vulnerability and confusion around him is excellent. I recognized that kind of manipulation and yes, it’s extremely difficult to escape. I also like how Spock is possessive (consistent with the experience of pon farr—all those emotions are normally controlled, but they’re still always present), and how Nyota doesn’t react well to him, either. You put up real barriers between our OTP, and they’re all the stronger for it. Well done!

An illustration recently posted on tumblr caused me to revisit this story. I had forgotten how wonderful it is. The tone and dialogue are spot on. Thank you once again for such a sweet read.

that sentence reminds me of a TOS Spock/Uhura story in which Spock writes that 'it was only logical that we should meet between the stars'

After so much excitement for Spock and Uhura in the what...were he left for Vulcan, i wasdisappointed when i read this. It was to fast forward and forced.

Amazing. I know it's just one word but it fits.

In the author's note you summed up why I love your stories so much. The main characters have flaws. I live nuanced, real, relatable characters. And who wouldn't be put off by Spock's behavior he is not perfect and could stand to be more forthcoming but he wont because that isn't who he is by nature as well as nurtured through his culture. Great story.
