I have been a member of this site from about October 2003. That is a rather scary amount of time, wouldn't you say? 10 years this year. It's a long time for a website to have a part of your life. I'll admit that I haven't spent much time here in recent years, but it's always a part of me, the fandoms and the friends that they can inspire.

So, I thought it was about time that I rewrote my profile. It was massively out of date anyway. So I guess I should start at the beginning?

My name is RyanKathrynCelia, sometimes shortened to RKC - however, you may call me what you like so long as it's not rude - I go by the name of "Kialtho" these days but I can't bring myself to change my name on this profile. I'm attached to the RKC name as it's part of my history. I have recently turned 24. Last year I learnt how to knit, and have been crafting away through the rest of the year and will do into the future. Of course, by learning to knit it means that I can appreciate my fandoms even more.

Before I go much further I should tell you about some of my stories, I think, as I need to explain a few things about this account and about myself.

The first thing to mention, as I usually forget to put it in my stories is very obviously, I do not own the characters that I write about.

Secondly, as mentioned, I have owned this account for a very long time, and I refuse to take down my old stories, even though they are embarrassingly bad.

There are several one shot pieces for various universes, mainly Harry Potter, but I have written in other fandoms. [Including, I have to admit - one for Emmerdale, a UK based TV soap - don't judge - I was doing NaNoWriMo and needed a break at the time].

There are two current WIP's, one called "Blood Wards" which I started a very long time ago and just never got around to finishing. I am hoping with my new found interest [or is that "re-interest" even though it's not a word?] that I'll be able to get into the right mindset and finish up that one - I still get a lot of requests and follows for that story. It's set in the Harry Potter universe and is about Harry being taken into Minerva's protection due to the wards failing on Privet Drive.

The second is one that I have very recently started, more as a whim more than anything else as I was bitten by a plot bunny and decided to give it a whirl. This is called "Dear Senator" and is set in the Castle universe, about how Alexis is going to oust the Senator in revenge for her father's apparent murder. As mentioned, it was written on a whim, but seems to have received a pretty good response so will see where that story takes me. I don't want it to be massively long, but at the same time it's the type of storyline that has the potential to be a long one. Only time will tell, but I will try to write a couple of chapters a head and see where it goes.
