I've been a member of this site for a whole year.

Wow. A year. A year is a very long time.

In a year I've written 29 stories, all one-shots, except for two ones. I think that, except for a few ones, they're good stories.

I got many reviews that made my day. I met fantastic people. I read wonderful and powerful stories that made me cry or laugh or both.

I poured my heart in my stories. I wrote them everywhere. I spent hours answering to every single review or reviewing every single story I read.

Why did I start writing fanfictions? I don't know. Probably because I couldn't really believe that Harry Potter was over. I refused to admit it.

But everything must come to an end. And so it is for me. My job here is over.

Except for helping a friend with a story, I won't come here anymore. I won't post new stories. I won't read new stories or updates. I won't reply to reviews.

I'm grateful to the world of Fanfiction for what it did to me. It enabled me to write. To believe in my potential. To 'unleash my imagination'. I wrote about Harry Potter, but I wrote about myself and the things that happened in my life as well. If I didn't back down to some events that happened this year, it's probably due to fanfictions.

I'd like to thank so many people, but I'll thank just a few:

Gaby-Black, my beta, for betareading my stories and giving me great suggestions. I didn't ask her to become my beta, she was the one who wanted to do it. This is something I won't forget.

Cassandra's Cross, for her stories, probably the best ones I've ever read in this site, for never giving up and for supporting me.

Melissa Everlasting, because her reviews made me willing to become a better writer.

Jess.91, for her inspiration.

Nunser and urquinaona, for translating my story 'Mothers' in Spanish and French.

And so many other. McGrady, the first author I reviewed and favourited. awn, the first author who left me a review. SharkiesGirl, who left me wonderful reviews while I was writing 'The Mirror of Erised'. dobbydarling, who begged me not to leave fanfictions, who had me write my last story ('Don't be scared'... I don't think it's my best, but it's okay) and who made sure I didn't really leave this site.

And if one new member has stumbled upon my profile and read until this line, I just want to tell him/her that he/she is in the right place. This site is wonderful, mainly because it's made of wonderful people.

Oh, I'm on the verge of crying. If anyone wants to tell me anything, I'll answer to their PMs or their emails.
