She wanders though a forest clearing

Silvery leaves and dappled light

No judgemental faces leering

No ending of this dream in sight

xx

White-diamond pools harbour fallen stars

Midnight mists and glowing skies

Threats whispered through her prison bars

Worry swims through failure and it dies

xx

Crystalline strawberries grow on the trees

Cream waterfalls flow until dawn

Rose petals gold and emerald honey bees

Memories tattered and torn

xx

Unchartered waters and unsailed shores

Maps reading, 'here be dragons'

Shimmering white doves and albino boars

Floating down purple lagoons

xx

Blood-tinted brooks and chestnut starlight

Polka-dot palm trees and soils

Highway to the moon, behold, take flight

Sickly sweet passion fruit spoils

xx

Amethyst creepers and aquamarine

Lapis lazuli blue moon

No living soul at all to be seen

The tiger sleeps in his cocoon

xx

Sapphire spun spider silk, ruby lament

Sparkling butterfly wings

Black diamond dancers waltz on the scent

Of oh-so much prettier things

xx

Mulberry moonlight, apricot vines

Tangerine pineapples too

Reminding her now of indigo wines

And of her resplendent tattoo
