![]() Author has written 6 stories for Fire Emblem, D.Gray-Man, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. Hey, Demoness Drakon here! You can just call me Drakon though, the 'demoness' part just takes too damn long to type, and honestly, I tend to just go by Drakon. Why Demoness Drakon? Well, according to most of the people I know, I am apparently a bitch. Since 'bitch' wouldn't be acceptable as part of a pseudonym, 'demoness' seemed to work out better and I figured why the hell not. Drakon is just a nickname my friends and I came up with at the start of highschool, and I like it (And still use it). I also respond to Draks, Drakkers, Drakky, Drakersaurus, and Drak. It's amazing how people came up with these things. So, I can assume you're reading this for at least one of these reasons: I (Surprisingly) flamed you. This is rare for me, but if I did, you probably deserved it because: I sent you a good review/faved your story; cudos to you. You earned it because: (For the Fire Emblem fans) I added your story to my community, Five Star Stories. Congratulations, 'cause: Or you're reading this because you're bored with nothing better to do with your life and just happened upon my page. Don't worry, you're not alone; I do it too! About me Here is where most people rant and rave about what I like, don't like and whatnot. This is FANFICTION, not MySpace or Facebook or whatever the hell people use for social networking. And frankly, I don't think the majority of people give a damn about me as a person, but do give a damn about writing related things, so I think I just leave my personal life to Facebook, and leave the majority of my writing stuff here or on Fiction Press. Quotes I find to be awesome, or just plain funny! (If I knew who said it, I put it) I just had one of those "what the hell are we doing" moments. -Adam from Mythbusters. Agreed; I always have those. People are morons. I don't have any other explanation. I really don't. -Joss Whedon. Amen to that. Be nice to nerds, you'll work for them.- Bill Gates. Yes, I'll have people working for me! Can you believe it? Shot in the ass by my own people. - Kolya, City of Thieves. Sucks he died, but I think it's the irony that makes me laugh. Writing-related Things...and some potential ranting Well, I obviously write on this site (Instead of just having an account to post reviews). I will use 'big words' in fan-fiction stories, since it is generally well accepted if you use them correctly in context, and give the readers some inkling of what it means. It is also quite humorous when I use higher vocabulary in stories that are generally kept simple so that the average, mediocre person can fathom what is trying to be stated. Still nonetheless I don't have a lot of stories, but I try to make sure I have quality instead of quantity(Which is something I learned to do over the span of my years on this site) I have done some work with other authors around the site, mostly beta-reading, and co-authoring and whatnot. So if you see the pen-name 'Demoness Drakon' or just simply 'Drakon' appear in some humor fic, I probably assisted with it, provided ideas from my bottomless imagination, or proofread it for grammar and spelling mistakes. I'm pretty good at it too (I'm open for beta-reading)! Let's see, on the downside I am a lot like Shigure from Fruit's Basket since I would be any publisher's worst nightmare when it comes to actually writing new things on request. Seriously, just look at how long it takes me to update; it isn't pretty. I usually get ideas when I'm asleep or close to it, or when I'm in the middle of a class and unable to write down my ideas. Generally I'll just entertain myself with the musings and not write them down. Trust me, be happy I don't write everything I think of, you'd be horrible scarred if I did. But on the occasion I do publish something, it's generally good, and worth the wait. Oh, and on the note of my Twilight Rant; the only reason I haven't re-formatted it is because I simply believe it is good to have up just for the laughs. Really, I laugh at myself when I read it. Still, I actually can (Somewhat) write, and I get plenty of practice doing such as well. Thank you AP English and far too many essays! As for what I read here on the site; I will go for whatever seems interesting. Most of the time, humor stories and crack fics are the ones I read, because I normally need a laugh after 20 credit hours of college education (And some of those authors are very good at writing, so it's good all around). Sometimes I'll read the adventure or romance stories if they are good (Generally, most adventure stories are self inserts, poorly written self inserts). And as for romance, it isn't hard to guess how many fan-spawned Mary Sues are in those, so I tend to avoid OC X Canon Character pairings like the plague. However, I did read a portion of the infamously bad Harry Potter fanfiction, My Immortal, one day out of pure boredom. I believe I lost a sizable chunk of my IQ just by reading the first sentence, let alone half of the bloody thing. The only good chapter was the hacked chapter and it was hilarious. Whomever hacked that crazy chick's account, I have to give you props! As of late, I tend to stay around the Hellsing and Fire Emblem sections of , though I've been known to stalk about Hetalia, Fruits Basket, D.Gray-Man, No. 6, Tales of Symphonia and Durarara sections from time to time. Heck, I read crossovers from time to time too, my only requirement is that it be well-written and somewhat clever. Last Words of Humor/Wisdom Read my stories and; If they are pleasing; review and say it. If it needs work; review and critique my work, because I will improve upon what needs it. If the story in general is awful; tell me, because I will either submit the story to intense editing or delete it. If you hate it and I know for a fact that the story doesn't suck and have support for that statement in the form of favorites stats or reviews; don't pass go and review, press the back button and don't take up the space in my inbox with pointless, petty flames with every other word misspelled. Honestly, I have more important things to do besides listen to you rant and rave. But if you insist on sending me an unnecessary flame, and continuously diss anything I happen to do no matter what it is; I'll simply make sure to 1. Write down your penname, 2. Block you, and 3. Report you. So, enjoy my stories, and enjoy the rest of your day! |
