Author has written 6 stories for Peter Pan, Coraline, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Kingdom Hearts, and Sherlock Holmes.

I write fanfiction whenever a project has me pulling out hair. It's relaxing to cut loose. and the reviews are sweet, sweet gravy.

(Complete) A Study in Magic

Crosses Harry Potter with Sherlock Holmes, focusing on Harry's upbringing and actions. Far from proud of the final product, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have fun writing it.

Answers to Common Reviewer Questions, Laments, etc.

-First and foremost, no sequel is planned. Once upon a time, I had some notion of continuing this story, but no longer. This story has lost all direction for me. In retrospect, it never had much direction beyond the initial premise, and even that was muddled as it went along.

-It was necessary to the cross time lines of the two canons, but nothing is made of this fact. I merely transplanted 19th century Sherlock Holmes into the standard Harry Potter universe.

-Sherlock's character is based on the performances of Jeremy Brett, the definitive Holmes. In turn, Brett's performance is based off the original books.

-Yes, I am American. And yes, in this story, the American language revels in full splendor. It's a shameful display, but cannot be helped. The amount of time required to iron out language kinks ("mommy" becomes "mummy", and so on) is substantial. The cost/benefit equation just doesn't balance. And finally, the cherry on top: According to FFN, over 90% of the readers for A Study in Magic are (you guessed it), Americans.

(Complete) Steel Held Tight

I salivated over the film Coraline. Stop-motion photography at its best. That said, it did rankle to watch our heroine rush off into danger without preparing. She brings pruning shears to battle eldritch evil. That's it. When an ex-military nut-job lives upstairs.

(Complete) You Don't Know Jack

Explores the early years of Captain Hook. An attempt to get inside a character's head.

(Complete) Faceless

Stormtroopers aren't bad shots, they're just misinformed.

(Complete) Spooked

A short, short drabble about Sora. What would it be like, knowing every shadow you saw held menacing potential? No mention of anything beyond the first Kingdom Hearts.

(Infinitely In-progress) Table Scraps

A place for excess ideas to drain. Chapters are separate one-shots.

It's a running joke in the Star Wars community that stormtroopers have horrendous aim, but what if their accuracy was perfect all along? Lightsaber's are small targets, but the Empire's finest are up to the challenge.
