Reviews for Life After Death |

![]() ![]() ![]() It’s very rare that I come across a good fic that features Konan in it. The way you portrayed Konan as a character was spot on. Overall this was a wonderfully written piece. |
![]() ![]() ![]() nice |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this. I especially liked the notion that the prospect of her life "after" was so much lighter and easier. It really twists the notion of "like after death" in an interesting way. |
![]() ![]() Beautiful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm impressed. You've brought more feeling into Konan's character than I ever expected to feel for her. She seems a little realer after reading this. Very nice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's good to see you writing after so long. This means you'll add to Foxhunt, right? "parchmenty" For such a serious piece you should use "parchment-like". "paper flowers with singed edges marking the grave in a way she deemed artistic." Deidara was really artistic, but I think you mean a word that means appropriate for a funeral. "appropriate," while a lazy choice, sounds better. Everything else is great. Good luck. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know, it is a pain in the butt to find good Konan fics; and this qualifies as a good, yet short, story. It is rather sad; but it makes perfect sense for this to occur, even if it possibly didn't happen in the manga. The burning of the bodies I mean. It's a little choppy at the end, like choosing to burn the bodies was a whim. I like how the theme of Konan walking home alone was reaccuring in the shortness of the story. Overall, nice work. Drakon out! |
