its definitely been at least more than three years since I read this and I still get teary-eyed ahhahah
I think it's the fact that, we already know how it will end, but we all have this tiny sliver of hope that maybe what would happen, would not. And so we go through the emotional journey of a story seeing how he slowly fades away. Not just his thoughts, but also seeing how it affects everyone around him too. The ability to display the turmoils and emotions of everyone, and the slow descent to madness really amplifies the feels, to sum it up :) and listening to Hello Hurricane, and the rest of the playlist really packs the punch too, it fits right into the theme of this fic. Thank you.

Holy God above, I'm in tears right now, close to sobbing, this is very good, an awesome inspiring story, and that "Do you love me enough to let me go" ? It killed me, it pained me to see Gilbert going through that pain and it made me happy to think he lived life the best way but that ending made me cry
