'A Tale of the Great Demon Sesshomaru' was my FIRST fanfic EVER. It had a nearly complete chapter on the computer that recently broke down. I am currently working on rewriting it, which has proven to be somewhat of a trial. Hopefully, I will be able to upload the next chapter sometime in the next couple of weeks.

'Alice in the Country of Hearts: An Unexpected Lover' is my MOST POPULAR fanfic to date. I know I haven't updated it in a suuuuper long time, and since Quinrose has since gone bankrupt, I have no idea when I'll get the itch to continue it. If anyone has any ideas... please send me a PM.

'Izakaya to Unmei' started out as a simple idea of Rin meeting Sesshomaru again while working at a restaurant. Obviously, as the title implies, their reunion is fate and leads to a slow-burning romance. It was meant to be a one-shot. I have no idea what happened... I've really enjoyed writing it so far and I was quite pleasantly surprised at the positive response from readers. As soon as I upload the next chapter for 'A Tale of the Great Demon Sesshomaru', I will begin working on the next installment for 'Izakaya to Unmei'.

'Estate Sale' was my first POTO fic and started out as a passing thought while driving around, running errands one afternoon. Once again, what was supposed to be a quick and dirty one-shot turned into an ambitious mystery/thriller. I was overwhelmed by the positive response that I got, and I haven't given up on it. One day, I'll sit down, re-read what I've written, and probably be able to crank out a few more chapters.

As always... the best way to keep a writer inspired, is with glowing reviews and constructive criticism! I'm truly thankful for every review, follow, favorite and pm I receive. Thank YOU.

'A Mob Boss's Miko' has just been UPDATED!!! Oh my gaaawd, I swear this story is freaking intense! I hope you all enjoy it 3 It's now my SECOND LONGEST fanfic to date, and hopefully I can keep riding this wave of inspiration.

I feel like I'm steadily becoming less of a perfectionist when it comes to drafting a chapter. Instead of editing while I write, I can just go and literally be at it for sometimes SIX HOURS at a time ; ) Most of a chapter is written in the first drafting session, then I take a day or so off if I'm feeling the need to chill out, then return full force to hash out the rest. Then I'll probably take another break, sometimes three or four days to recover. Lastly, I'll have my amazing partner look over it and let me know what he thinks (he's always excited about smut, the perv ; P) and then finish editing and IMMEDIATELY upload onto the site. After editing a second or third time, I'll add the disclaimer and author's notes, as well as any shout outs and thank yous.

This is my process, and I find that it works pretty well. I tend to get bored or discouraged easily, so keeping it fresh and free of pressure/expectations REALLY helps ME to ENJOY the process. Writing is supposed to be FUN.

Well... How is everyone? Not that I know anyone's reading this, but I just wanted to do a little check in. After looking over my story stats, I realized just how much readers have been enjoying, 'A Mob Boss's Miko'. It surprises me every time, because there isn't much of a fandom for poor Inupapa T_T This makes me so, so happy, that my most popular fanfic is dedicated to such an underappreciated character in the Inu Yasha fandom. I mean, what's not to fall in love with?

So!

I am going to make an effort to sit my weirdo buttocks down and WRITE. CHAPTER. Six? Seven?? Oh, lord, it's getting to be a long one, isn't it! Hang on to your panties, gals, because I've got some serious Inupapa/Kags S M U T . Like, for real, this is gonna go down!

Okay, so I'm nearly done with the next chapter of 'A Mob Boss's Miko', and I've gotta say... AAARRRRGGHHH!!! What the hell happened??? Kagome!!! Sweetie!!! I really hate you right now!!!

Um...yeah. So I'm TRYING to finish it guys, I really, really am.

Has this really taken me a freaking MONTH to finish???

Ugh...I know, I know, I'm whining and ranting and that is SO not PC, but man! Sometimes I gotta vent. I love this story but these characters have MINDS OF THEIR OWN. SERIOUSLY.

Okay, I'm gonna go now and like...finish it...for reals...for realsies this times. Promise?

VI. Confession

The soft glow of moonlight illuminated the outline of his broad shoulders and shining, silver hair pulled back into a loose, messy bun, which only served to accentuate his strong, chiseled profile. As Kagome stepped into the darkened study, she felt the cool, smooth silk of the red dress caress her skin, making her shiver. Goosebumps rose across her skin, her cheeks flushed peony-pink as his aura dominated her own. Anticipation, frustration and longing all wrapped into one, her nerves were firing on overdrive.

It had been a week.

An entire week since they had been able to talk, let alone be in the same room. Agonizing as it had been, Kagome realized in that time apart just how much responsibility Touga bore under the yoke of his position. It forced her to think very carefully about any future with him and what it would mean to really give in. She still didn’t understand what he wanted from her, truly, and tonight she was going to get some answers. He may only want her for her body, which only confused her since he obviously had the means to have any female he wanted – demon, human or otherwise. She would not be played for a fool; she wanted a true relationship with someone she could give herself wholly to, and who would love her in return.

Was that so much to ask?

When the door clicked shut, he turned around, the shadows obscuring his features. He stood there for what seemed like forever, until finally he broke the silence.

“You came,” his deep, melodious voice rumbled.

Was that relief she heard?

“Yes,” she breathed.
