I love how impatient he is with her which is completely understandable, but at the same time he loves having someone to care for.

Such a nice chapter! Everything was pure perfection! I loved the daroga's appearence, his hesitance in believing a woman actually loved and married Erik willingly (and in turn Erik's hurt about it, which was porbably my favorite touch of the chapter! To think that even the person who has known you the most and for the longest time still has doubsts that anyone will find you worthy of love and affection... ouch! Poor Erik! Thankfully, the Daroga was quick to fix his mistake -I could already picture Erik crying on his wife's arms while filled with doubts of his worthiness!), Christine's fear and evident distrust, Erik's protectiveness and his lack of care to what his nearness could look like when he knew the truth that his wife simply needed him, the Daroga's quick understanding of their situation... well, everything! I loved it a lot. Fantastic chapter!

Wow! First of all, I am LOVING your fic! I love how you balance Erik's controlling behaviour with his vulnerability, and how Christine's touch, as much as he usually love it, can be overwhelming at times. It shows just how broken he truly is.
I also love your Christine a lot. Her dependance and initial hesitation, followed by blind trust, and then once again hesitance but now mixed with a deep desire to trust him! I feel so sorry for her, for everything she had to go through... her fear now is competely understandable. Poor Christine. I really hope both Erik and Christine can one day overcome all their traumatic experiences and find happiness.
the only thing that keep putting me... off, about this fic is Christine's and Erik's age. Is Erik 50 here, as he is in the book? Because in the book Chrisitne is 20/21, and here she's 15... I love E/C above all things, but if Christine's 15 and Erik's 50... that's a greater age gap thna me and my dad! Not to mention, the ending of this chapter made Erik look pretty... predatory... I hope this does not take a dark(er) turn. These two have had such amazing chemistry up to this point, and I would really love to see them become a healthy, supporting couple!:)

Oh, that was a good ending. I only wish there had been another encounter with Raoul and Christine, as them interacting could have been very interesting.
I still really enjoyed it! Both Erik and Christine had really well done character arcs, and overcame their demons believably.
