I absolutely love this story so far! No pressure in writing more ( I totally understand how life and motivation get the better of us) but I would be overjoyed to see this story get picked up again! Thank you!

so with the way the conversation with Raoul, Christine, Sorelli, and Darius went definitely felt like I had been in that jovial conversation atmosphere before. I laughed at how they all went silent then Christine brought up a funny misconception about Darius to break the ice. I laughed with them out of relatability and the circumstances bc lmfaoo it's so realistic. I also love Raoul in this fic. he's just so fun and kind and a real person with his own struggles. I am intrigued about Nadir as well like bro after all that camaraderie, this man really suspects Erik...loyalty to duty and justice I suppose, but I can't help but sense a bigger purpose at work.
I was sad when you highlighted Erik overhearing the laughter and how it stood out to him that he felt he could never be apart of that. of course he's an angst machine no matter what but that detail striking him as a reason to brood over his life circumstances was something else. and of course, great tension and resolution when Christine came back to her room and had a meaningful conversation amongst some well-written spicy content that adds to their budding relationship. they've begun to really know each other better and I'm thrilled to see it. I can feel how they're both drawn to each other physically and emotionally. great stuff! while this is on indefinite hiatus, there is absolutely no rush for creativity. even if it takes awhile or not, I look forward to the day you publish the next chapter. I will be excited for what other details and developments in plot, characters, or relationships you'll delve into next

I love how enamored he is of her, despite his revenge plot. I love their interactions! The sweet moments like him trying to get her to talk, and watching her crunch leaves... ;,,) And that she compared him to Jack Skellington, and he didn't even understand the reference!

I think I love this fic so much because it's not just about the romance/relationship, but that Erik has this wild backstory that all the characters are embroiled in. I'm excited to see where that goes...

Do you know how amazing your story is? I love modern Erik, always, but I think this is the first dark one that I thought was able to commit big crimes, and now he is innocent? I'm terribly curious to see how this ends... after all, it doesn't seem like an easy victory for the protagonists. Keep the good work coming.

I'm in awe of how these puzzle pieces are fitting together- how everyone knows everyone (WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ERIK AND HER FATHER? Why did he go to jail? WHAT FIRE OMG things are being revealed at such a delicious pace. I love that Philippe is apparently quite a dick hahah. I loved that little moment when Raoul says her father could be very surprising... Hmmmmm)
I really like Meg, by the way. And the Quasimodo vibes- watching what he doesn't think he deserves from his belltower, living in the dark... Oof

Jesus Christ this is so effing good

Ahhhh your interactions between characters are so flawless, they feel perfectly natural, and even THE DAROGA with his few lines feels like a rounded, deep character. Christine feels both new and familiar, as does Erik - and damn, this is like... a really hot Erik. That whole lesson scene was breathtaking.

I never would have expected that someone could make me feel so MUCH about the sad puppy song from those commercials, and what do you know, that bit was damn flawless, wowwww! How you wove the song into Christine's own psyche, her past with her dad, this release of grief in real time, plus Erik's simultaneous emotion in that moment! Ahh
