Brava!
This was one roller coaster of a story. The emotions, scenarios, action and settings were all so breathtaking and sumptuous. The last few chapters felt like my heart had been thrown into a blender, a delicious swirl of heartbreak and relief.
You have clearly put so so so so much effort and work into making a story that has QUALITY and substance. God, I wish this could easily be turned into a cinematic masterpiece.

UGH, you've somehow written not only the most cinematic unmasking scene but also the KISS?! What kind of fanfic sorcery is this!?

God damn, this has honestly become my favorite fic on this entire damn site. I usually prefer Leroux and Kay based fiction, but your modern ALW Erik has such depth and personality that it really suits this fast paced chase of a fiction. You've educated yourself on all the high tech wizardry enough to give Erik's explanations of them to Christine some semblance of realism. I'll be damned if this isn't the best Erik ever created, because you've added so much more to his personality.
And your Christine is a strong woman with a backbone! What a relief to see someone write a Christine who is multifaceted and daring.
The tension and the push-pull of the dialogue is absolutely frustrating, but I mean that in the best way possible. You've taken all the best elements of angst and added sophisticated maturity to it. Your characters are so thoroughly developed and their plight is so believable that it makes this reader emotionally invested in every next line. Your ability to describe all the new cities, buildings and modes of transport that they encounter truly is a testament to your craft. It's clear that you have done your research because I can see and hear all the environments in which you put your characters.
Wow, just wow. I don't even know what else to say. I'm not even done yet and I simply had to review because I'm gushing over this work.

This unmasking scene was probably one of the most cinematic that I've read. The modern take on Erik's Manhattan digs, despite living in sky he's still just as isolated as ever.

"I'm a sociopath, dear, not a Philistine." How do you come up with all of these excellent one-liners?!

"Complaining about your dry cleaning makes you seem less dangerous." Best line in a fic yet.

Thank you so much for writing an incredible and emotionally moving story. I laughed. I cried. I felt anger and resentment. And also the feeling of moving on I guess you could call it. This is so wonderful and beautiful and definitely one of the best phanfics I've read. Kudos to you.

I have been stretched into different directions on the emotional spectrum because of this chapter. I just simply could not believe that he was "dead". I kinda cried because I wasn't warned that this would be a tragedy but you made it so believable I didn't think I'd get over it. Aksjsjdhdhjs. Well done.

Oh my god this was written so beautifully I'm crying. It's so soft and romantic. My heart is melting.

Here I was, enjoying the fluff and gush of feelings flowing between them on the first half. Gentle, sweet, and confusing revelations... And the next thing I know it becomes an angry dinner fight with both of my parents screaming at each other while I try to eat. Anyways that's what it feels like

Also really LOVING how direct and assertive Christine is. I think you explained really well how you can love a person while also despising their problematic behavior. It's actually real.

I am really loving this so far. I love love the adventure and Bond-esque thing going on here. This story feels like an escapism with all the luxurious clothes and events, 1st class travel, guaranteed comfort, being with the one person who knows you. The waybyou describe it really just sweeps me away *dreamy sighs*

"You want me to love you and all you do is talk about hating yourself!" Not gonna lie this sentence gave me a flashback on my last relationship. Damn now that's a cold hard truth.

"And judging by your actions, I'd say that you seem to want someone else to control your destiny right now." Lmao I love this quote because I feel for Christine. Also truth. Enjoying this so far.

What a brilliant title for this story. Like that is genius. Up to the readers (or Christine) to decide the situation it’s amazing.
