Author has written 9 stories for Rise of the Guardians, Year Without a Santa Claus, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars, Worm, Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Book X-overs, Frozen, Lord of the Rings, Person of Interest, and Stranger Things, 2016. Too Many Alternates is also over on Spacebattles, which will probably be the more-updated version of that story. My account name there is the same as it is here. All my writing lately has been for the RWBY Loops compilation. See Chapters 59, 60, 61, and some of the Tale of Two Sisters in 62 and 63 (although those aren't specifically labeled, so I won't say which parts are mine in case there's a reason for that.) Notes for The Weasley Family and the Transdimensional Platform: My goal is to keep this story close to Rowling's canon: for next generation events, everybody's characterizations, and relationships. I also consider Northumbrian's world to be the "default" expansion on the actual canon, and I'll be drawing from A Call to Arms by My Dear Professor McGonagall and Not From Others by FloreatCastellum for characters, events, and other details of the world of Ginny's sixth year at Hogwarts before the intervention of the dimension-traveling Weasleys. I am American. I'll try to use the British spelling and British words wherever possible since this is set in England and Scotland, and if I ever write a scene with breakfast for some reason I'll be sure not to have them eat pancakes. (This seems to be a strong pet peeve of multiple fanfiction authors. I can understand being annoyed, but is it really that big of a deal? Eh, I guess if a fanfiction set in America had people eating scones all the time or called cookies "biscuits" it would be pretty weird.) That said, I'm not really going to put any special effort into "Brit-picking" or whatever, since that wouldn't be fun, and the whole point of this is for me to have fun writing. If you find any errors, feel free to let me know in a message or review or something, and I'll probably get around to fixing it sometime. The same goes for errors in canonicity, although I might not change that if it ends up integral to the story. |
