I adore this story. Sorry if my reviews just keep coming but I do it a lot for fanfics I am reading through.
I know there are still 2 chapter to go but damn has this story been a blast.

I will say I felt dragon slayer to be rather quick and lacking some foundation (my gripes I have with bb) but how they are with each other makes up for it. I could never see it happen in show (mostly because they have somehow never interacted and now Yang only exists for Blake) but how you made them connect is real nice and enjoyable to read.

Anyway it’s so rare to read fight scenes like this, especially with adding in stuff like getting under their skin, I always forget about the mental warfare that comes with fights. Before the battle of the fist comes the battle of the mind (definitely did not steal that line from king fu panda 3)

Damn the story shifts tone and I still love it.
Stories like these are what make me disappointed in the show and what we actually got.
Even with your, as you put it, narrow experience you hit those points real well and had me really feeling it.

Damn Jaune and Cloud do have a lot in common. I am loving this story

I never knew how much I love this kind of Jaune. God I wish he became something more interesting in show then a battery\amp as well as bad comic relief (no where near as funny as this)

Honestly though. I'm excited to see more of this story. It's been a great ride.
