I make an active choice to be kind and I refuse to allow a person's actions towards me to cause me to be unkind to someone else.

No matter what a person's done, they still should be given the chance to become a better person. This doesn't mean that the people who they hurt have to forgive or forget what they've done.

There is no such thing as inherently good or bad people, just people who do good or bad things for good or bad reasons.

You can understand someone's motives and reasoning and at the same time, disagree with them wholeheartedly.
