Important Update 5/17/14: Well look at this. I am still alive. I bet some of you were wondering. No, I'm here. I've had an absolutely horrendous couple of years, but those are over and I'm back. For anyone wondering I have finally started writing again. I'm first gonna finish Lost Child (only one more chapter left), then I'll be uploading three new fics. Yes I said three. That excites me so much. I hope you all enjoy.

So now onto the stuff about me:

Well then, it seems that I have to put something here now don't I? What can I say that might interest you? I'm a 40 year old female with two kids. I usually go by either Miss, Mel or more often times just M. So what does that have to do with Evil Amplified. Nothing really. My penname just describes me to some extent or at least my writing style.

Okay my interests. At this time I am mainly interested in tv shows that deal with supernatural or magical aspects. For instance Supernatural, Charmed, Doctor Who and Grimm.

Currently I am only writing Supernatural & Charmed fics set surrounding the characters of Season 6 but in the future I might add other tv shows or movies that interest me.

So on to my fics.

Charmed

I am currently writing a series of fics that I will call the Sacrifice Series and I also have two standalone revelation fics. One is complete but the other is still in progress. I will update here as to where I am in the series and other fics as I add new chapters and stories.

Sacrifice Series My version of Charmed starting with the last few scenes of It's a Bad, Bad, Bad World and continuing on with one very important fact changed. Yes I saved Future Chris. He is the star of all of my fics, ya know. This is a continuing series that will go on until I just have no interst in writing it anymore.

Second Existence Complete!

Third Existence In planning stages.

Confusion In Time First four chapters written but need a serious edit before publishing. And besides, I really need to finish the first two stories in the series before I publish the third, now don't I?

Life's Reasons One shot concerning the events of Chris' 22nd birthday which by my recollection had to have took place while in the past.

Lost Child I have no clue what got into me but this fic has bitten into me hard, so this is yet another revelation fic that is completely AU in comparison to my last one. But I still think it will be an interesting read. So what do you think would happen if season six had happened when Wyatt was 8 years old and there apparently wasn't a Christopher Halliwell? So who exactly is Chris? And who is the lost child that the Charmed Ones found in the Underworld? Chapter 21 posted.

Not His Fault - It wasn’t his fault. He had been saying that for years, but it always sounded hollow to his own ears. But circumstances can change right before your very eyes if you know what to look for. Season 6, AU, Revelation fic.

What do I like and dislike for Charmed stories in both fics I read and those I write?

First I wish to say these are just my own opinions and I don't expect anyone to agree with them or to even like them, but I do have a right to have them. So please respect my opinions and I'll respect yours.

Pairings:

Piper If you pair her with any body but Leo your fic will be bypassed in a heartbeat. They belong together and I never have any intention of sticking them with anyone else. I will occasionally read a fic that starts out with Piper with someone else but she better end up with Leo in the end.

Phoebe I only like three pairings with her. Coop, Cole, and Drake. If it's not a cupid or a demon it's not amazing enough for Pheebs guys.

Paige Well I honestly didn't dislike any of the guys she dated on the show so any really would do but I prefer Henry.

Wyatt I really don't like to see him paired with anybody. I don't mind if he has a girlfriend that for the most part isn't hardly mentioned. I'm just not interested in fics that pair the boys up with anyone.

Chris Same as Wyatt. I'm not really interested in romance fics for these guys. But if you are gonna give him a girl I think it should be Bianca. I mean she did die for him and all.

OC's I don't mind original characters in a story but don't pair them with anyone and they shouldn't be the focus of the fic no matter how they are related to the family.

Slash You know I don't mind slash. I even like reading it on occasion in certain fandoms, but I can't see where it works very well in the Charmed fandom except for one instance I can think of. I do like one slash pairing idea that came to me but I haven't read any like it yet. In Charmed-Harry Potter crossovers I'd like to see a pairing between Harry and Chris. I think they would work well together, but as of yet I haven't read any. If anyone out there has written one of these I'd love to read it. So send me a link.

General Plotline Likes and Dislikes:

Likes:

I will read almost any concept that is not included in my dislikes section.

I love Chris revelation fics. They are the best as far as I'm concerned.

Demons, the more the better. I love reading about them. Especially Barbas and Zankoo. Those two just rock. And I love to see new demons too. Make up as many as you like.

Spells, I have great respect for anyone who attempts to write a well thought out spell.

Leo and Chris, father/son fics. This is the most interesting dynamic of the entire show for me. I like to tear the whole relationship apart and try to figure it out.

I love Charmed-Harry Potter crossovers if they are done well.

Dislikes:

Cousins that play a large part in the storyline. I don't mind them being around some but I'm just not interested in them.

Chris and Wyatt's sister. Okay, yeah, I do believe that they have a sister I just don't want to read about her. If she's in the fic she should be a minor part of it or I hate to be mean but she has to die and early on, preferably before the fic starts.

Someone traveling back from Chris' time to help him unless it's one of the following people, Wyatt, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Leo, Bianca, Victor or Cole (Yes, I know, technically he's dead but I've seen it done and it works). I don't mind if a cousin, sister, brother, or friend travels back to warn him of some impending disaster but they should be in and out. Chris is the hero, don't make him share the glory. This dislike turns into a like though if the person coming back in time wants to kill him. Okay, I'll admit it, I like evil. So sue me.

A huge overabundance of friends that take over the storyline. I don't mind if Chris and Wyatt have friends but they should just be supporting characters.

Stories that make Leo out to be this horrible abusive father for no good reason. I just don't get that. There has to be a reason why Leo was a bad dad to Chris in his original timeline. Leo is a Whitelighter/Elder and it supposed to be such a great source of good, so why would he be horrible to his kid. I can understand the whole neglect thing. He got caught up in saving the world and all but I've seen alot of fics where he is abusive to the kid and I have to say that if you want to go that way there needs to be a reason why. A spell, a curse, a potion, something.

Super Chris, this has to be the one thing that bothers me the most. Alot of people feel that Chris was cheated in the powers department and yeah well he was, but to take it to the extreme and give him a butt load of powers to compensate is just way wrong. Chris has to be the underdog for the story to work well. I mean if he had enough power to defeat Wyatt would he really have come back in time to change things? No he would have found a way to fix it in his own time.

My theory on why Chris didn't have lots of powers:

Okay, on one hand we have Wyatt. Oodles and gobs of strong powers, Twice blessed, weilder of Excalibur, did I miss anything? But in Chris' original timeline Wyatt basically went mad, let go of all of his inhibitions and took over the world killing, maiming and destroying.

Then we have Chris, a few powers and a very strategic mind. Chris never let go of his inhibitions and joined Wyatt. He stayed good.

But what's to say that Chris doesn't have just as much power as Wyatt does but his inhibitions keep him from using it to it's full potential. I mean, he sees what happened to Wyatt when he let the power go to his head. Chris doesn't want that for himself and I can't blame him there.

And another part of that theory involves Destiny. What if Chris was made the way he is so that he can be Wyatt's balance. He was destined to be the one to save Wyatt and to keep him from going mad. But for that to be the case he would not be able to give into the temptation of power himself. His job as the Twice Blessed's brother it to keep him in line and to keep the balance of power right. So that makes Chris just as important or maybe more so than Wyatt.

That of course is just my theory but it is one that makes Chris' lack of powers seem more understandable.

What do I like and dislike for Supernatural stories in both fics I read and those I write?

Pairings: Hmmm... this is something that I fight myself over all the time. I prefer no pairings at all but I will read Wincest, which at first I thought I'd never do. But I guess if I'm gonna pair the brothers with anyone it should be with someone I am already fond of, and since I don't like any of the women on that show (except Ellen and Meg a little) well that leaves just the brothers.

General Plotline Likes and Dislikes:

Likes:

I love Hurt!Comfort fics. I don't care which brother gets hurt just as long as one of them is hurt and the other is angsty as hell.

MOW's. I love reading about the monster of the week. Take them from actual folklore, make em up yourself, I don't care. Just tell me about them.

Bobby and Ellen are the absolute best supporting Characters. I love reading about them as long as the boys are still the main characters.

I also like stories that feature Andy or Ash too, as long as it's with the brothers.

Crossovers with Charmed, my other love as you've already seen. If you've written one, please send me the link. I'd love to read it. And the pairings ban is lifted on these fics. I love to see the brothers paired with either Paige or Phoebe. And I'd even read slash involving either brother with Chris. Now that would be cool.

Dislikes:

Daddycest. I can read Wincest and I might actually be able to write it but anything that pairs John with the boys will be ignored by me and will possibly cause violent illness. Can't handle it, won't do it. I don't care if you write it, just don't ask me to read it.

Prominent original characters. I don't mind an OC here or there but I won't read a Winchester sister or extra brother fic. Forget it.

The characters mentioned on screen but never shown on the show. I realize that there are so many of John's contacts that the boys can run into but I seriously don't like to see them as a prominent part of the story. Unless they turn out to be a bad guy and want to hurt the boys. Those stories I eat up.

I'm not the biggest fan of John but I will read fics that contain him.

Jo and Cassie. I hate them both and don't want to read about them.

I can read fics with Ruby and Bella but I don't want them to hook up with the boys.

I need to thank all my wonderful reviewers out there. I have never seen a better set of reviews in any other fandom than I have in Charmed and it looks like the Supernatural reviewers are just as awesome. Just about everyone has something constructive to say to me and I find it to be the best learning experience I've had yet concerning writing. I've always considered writing to be my most favorite thing to do and all of you have made it twice as fun and I appreciate the encouragement you all give me. That said, I need to get back to my current chapter to appease the Update Gods.
