Author has written 12 stories for Supernatural. I've been waiting to do this until I felt I had something to say. Wait, that's not exactly true. I always have plenty to say but just don't always have the time to say it right. I'm Suz, a mama in Mississippi with three kids (2 teenaged girls and an 8 yr old boy who fancies himself to be a Weechester Wannabe!) and a lovely husband. I have a part-time job, run three home businesses and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up. The way things are going, I'm not sure that growing up part is going to happen any time soon (or ever!) so I may always be a work in progress. :-) I started writing fanfiction about 10 years ago in the KFTLC fandom. It's one of the greatest joys of my life. To be free to create and express and share with your own imagination the only limit is the best gift I've ever given myself. Fanfic writers are wonderfully kind and supportive of each other and what we have to offer is "more" of what we love in a particular show. We never have to be left hanging because there is always another take, another adventure, another trip even if our beloved show is gone. Now, I've discovered Supernatural and it's the first show I've gotten the fanfic bug for in years. I was away from writing for a time when real life just grabbed me around the throat and wouldn't let go. Now, I'm back, and realize how much happier I was when I was writing. This show has everything I love -- drama, action, human emotion and attachment, oh...and those pretty guys. As all we SPN gals must do, I will identify myself as a Dean Girl by definition but my Sammy is adorable, too, and my one greatest wish would be for Papa Winchester to whisper "Happy Birthday, Baby," in my ear. Oh, that man... Anyway, back to the topic, to be truthful, I write to create but I won't lie and say feedback doesn't matter to me. I crave it, lust after it, even. :-) I'm not talking about strictly the praises. I like critical analysis. If you like it, tell me why. If you see something that needs work, I love that, too. Writing is a journey and unless you get your course corrected from time to time, you get lost or stuck in the mud. So, I'm no baby. Feel free to express. I may not agree but I'll always entertain the notion. Also, being able to have adult conversations is precious to me, well, because of the three children thing. So, converse away with me, babies! Hope you'll enjoy the stories and maybe feel something or think something you didn't before. Come on in, Suz |
