Reveal fics are always the best because I get to see so many author’s interpretations of how Arthur would react. This is how I always really hoped it would go in the show. Something incredibly meaningful, that touches my heart and gives a change for Camelot’s views on magic to change. It was an amazing fic, one that will stay with me for a while. Thank you. :) |

| wryter501 chapter 1 . 4/13/2018 i'm really glad arthur was angry first at agravaine, not merlin - that speaks volumes. and it is a very valid point, agravaine doesn't have the right to waive a trial and proceed to execution. maybe if a sorcerer was fighting back, the defenders of the kingdom would be justified in killing him - but not if he's not. thank you for having arthur acknowledge the difficulty and delicacy involved in changing the law! love the image of merlin falling to sleep with his pardon in his hand! |
