I have been writing since I was in elementary school and love it. I've had my poetry published and have won a few essay contests, but that's about it for any possible shot at fame. I don't consider myself good and I don't consider myself bad, I let readers be the judge of that. I simply like to write. My pen name comes from one of my favorite names and my cat's name, "Tara", short for Taryn. The last name is "Laurel" and is "a group of flowering plants", but the flower represents Success, Renown, and Glory. I am not in any way saying I was prideful or anything I just thought it was pretty and not so typical sounding like "lily", "rose", etc etc etc. Please R&R my stories! I greatly appreciate feedback!
