I don't like character bashing. While it's understandable that some people just don't like certain characters, I find that demonizing them says more about the fanfic writer in question and too often drags in arguments over shipping. Look at the Harry Potter fandom for instance. It's also can been seen as insulting to the author of the original work

I don't really care about yuri/yaoi fanfiction as it's not my cup of tea

PAIRINGS

Bleach-Like -Ichigo/Orihime(sweet and adorable and canon, the interplay between their personalities is well worth it), Uryu/Nemu (an interesting contradiction with plenty of drama), Kisuke/Yoruichi(Two awesome characters with a long history), Ichigo/Tatsuki (a couple that deserves more attention considering their friendship), Aizen/Hinamori(Creepy and manipulative, but effective when written well), Uryu/Tatsuki(Odd but works well with the two of them), Gin/Rangiku( They have a interesting dynamic and history together, however Gin going after Aizen was a very poor decision)

Neutral-Ichigo/Rukia(Will read if a good story, avoid like the plague if it bashes Orihime), Uryuu/Orihime( I enjoy both characters, but tend to dislike when this pairing ends up being used as a plot device to get Orihime out of the way of pairing Ichigo off,with no time dedicated to its development or exploration), Yoruichi/Sui-Feng(It's ambiguous on Sui-Feng's side what her feelings are and Yoruichi chose to leave with Kisuke regardless), Most side pairings and alternate Ichigo pairings.

Dislike-Ulquiorra/Orihime(he killed Ichigo twice, mutilated Uryu(My favorite character), and was downright abusive to poor Orihime; He does have some pitiable qualities, but he's far from any sort of love interest)

Fate Franchise-Like-Archer/Rin(Their interactions and the fact that he's just Shirou's future self make them a intriguing couple), Kiritsugu Emiya/ Irisviel von Einsbern (Their relationship forms the heart of Fate/Zero and the love between the broken mercenary and the doomed homunculus really works well.)

Neutral-Shirou/Saber(I like the idea but the concept was never quite right in practice)

Kill la Kill-Like-Ryouko/Sanageyama(They had a nice rivalry in the first half that fell by the wayside as the series progressed), Mako/Gamagoori(They're a stark contrast, but their interactions through the series are hilarious)

Dislike-Ragyo Kiryuin/anybody(She's a child molester and a genocidal fruitcake, BAD TOUCH!)

Harry Potter-Like -Harry/Ginny(Works well overall, regardless of what some people think), Ron/Hermione( A nice contrast between their respective personalities and pretty much set up from the first book), Lupin/Tonks-(We never see that much of it but its sweet and gives Remus some degree of happiness)

Neutral-Harry/Hermione(I understand why some factions support it but don't really see the appeal)

Dislike-Voldemort/Anybody(Riddle never understood love and viewed it as a weakness, plus he's a homicidal psychopath), Draco Malfoy/Ginny Weasly-(Malfoy does get some sympathetic qualities, but he's still a fairly unpleasant sort that Ginny wouldn't touch with a 10 foot long broomstick)
