After reading through the latest Lord Drakkon PowerEangers comics, I was inspired to come back and revisit your work. It is one of my favorites. I hope you still plan to continue. I become slightly obsessive every time I read it, and I definitely have the itch again! Thank you for all you do! I hope you are having a great semester.

Hi! So it’s been awhile since I’ve commented. For some reason or another i stopped reading fanfiction for awhile. I guess life got in the way.

But about two weeks ago i started thinking about this series again and decided to start from the beginning since i couldn’t remember where I’d left off in this story and it had been awhile since I’d read the earlier ones.

I’m now finally caught up, and just.. wow. This series has been so amazing and has taken turns i wasn’t expecting. I definitely spent a few nights up way later than i should have because i didn’t want to stop reading. Thank you for giving us your story, it’s absolutely amazing and makes me think about getting into writing again.

I really can’t wait until you get to Zeo.. particularly Tommy’s crazy storyline that never really made much sense (mysterious brother who just pops out of nowhere? How does that happen?)

I’m rambling, but yeah.. just wanted to say thanks for sticking with this story for so long and I can’t wait to see where it goes!

CONGRATULATIONS, UnromanticPoetess on 10 years of an amazing journey. As just one of your readers, know that we appreciate the time and dedication you have for continuing to update your series. I honestly can’t remember when I found your fic, but I think about it many a time. Your author’s note hit home with me. The stories of our youth needed to be re-interpreted in light of what we’ve learned through growing up. Harsher ideas, real consequences, doubts….. so much drama! In the time that I’ve read your fic, I’ve also been completing graduate school (about to finish with my doctorate in chemistry!). I come to fanfic to escape when the world is too much, and you are a treasured author of mine. And an extra special thanks to beta reader, Jimmy – keep nagging :D!

ON TO THE STORY:

The Kimberly and Skull confession was amazing. Kim sort of knew she was under a spell, and Skull has a secret girlfriend?! Please let it be someone we know. I love how Skull’s big secret is that he’s a pianist. I was sad that was only in one episode of the series. Will it continue here? Also, Kim’s already training with coach Schmidt? When will she get the courage to tell everyone?

Rocky and Adam….. It’s finally happening! T_T. I’m so happy for them. And they were both just clueless to how the other felt. 3

AND THANK GOD IT’S OUT IN THE OPEN. Skull knows, the rangers know he knows. Skull is NOT an idiot, and I hope he is treated on a higher level in the future. Skull’s sheer panic run was really amusing, and bringing to light that Cestria has been hanging around (poor Billy). Skull will keep the secret from Bulk, I think, because he doesn’t want to see his friend in more danger. Will Skull ever find out that Tommy was the Green Ranger as well? That will be a whole different conversation and realization. I think I’m going to like Skull being an extra eyes/ears for the rangers… and Z-man is a pot dealer HAHAHAHAHAHA!

It was short, but is it sad I’m rooting for a nice Kat and Rito friendship? Rito really cares for her, even enough to understand her depression and not judge her for it. And the Cinderella references were ON POINT. I hope that when all is said and done, Rito keeps being on Katherine’s side, even if that means making the hard choices.

What happened to Ninjor!?

A DIFFERENT SHADE OF PINK is one of my BELOVED arcs of MMPR, actually of the entire PR series in general. I think you’ll knock this one out of the park, so I’m not worried. I’m just waiting with such anticipation you can’t even imagine.

I'm gonna cry. TWO CHAPTERS?! HOW AM I JUST SEEING THIS NOW?

Poor Tommy, trying to subtly hint to Kim that she's weird too and failing miserably. T_T She even says that Tommy and Kat would make a good couple. JFC, my HEART. I thought both Kim and Kat were good for Tommy at different times.

The broken relationships... and Rum/Coke is always a good remedy. Jeeze, Kat was not at all subtle in somehow breaking the security at just the right time and Tengas getting in right after. Not suspicious at all... 0.0

Rita and Zedd in a broken Serpentera. Honestly I could read a whole chapter on that and be immensely entertained. But their conversation was really emotional. And what happened to Zedd under Vile's command that flayed all of his skin off?

Kat's secret was surprising. A bit different from what happened in canon, but I LIKE your twist on it. Relief to not be a performer. Tommy's secret, relief from taking care of his Dad, was unexpected (for me), but looking back the signs were all there. Damn, you are GOOD at storytelling. Now that they've shared secrets, how will this factor into Kat's feelings towards Tommy, especially since we know she'll fight him soon enough in battle?

Wow... Has it really been 10 years? I guess it's true, quality takes time. I gotta say, while I (and probably every one of your readers) wish the chapters would come out faster, it's worth the wait to see what you can do. Keep up the good work!

You know... this chapter was so good, I don't even mind the lack of zords, violence and explosions.
I love what you did here, particularly with Skull, Goldar, Rito and their characterisation.
Your Goldar... and Rito for that matter - are so much better than the original versions.

I still read your work and wish I had reviewed the previous chapters. The only story arc I ever had a hard time with was Kim turning evil. Weird, I don't know why, compared to everything they've been through.

So I'm going to make a long story short. I'm on FF 24/7 so I do a lot of reading and I get tired of most authors after a story or two. You are not most authors. I was in the middle of reading a story when my phone alerted me that you had updated so I did what any self respecting individual would do. I paused in the middle of the chapter and jumped on to see what you had written. Again, you are one of the few authors to both meet and exceed my expectations and trust me that's very difficult. You took an amazing idea(which are usually boggled down by bad writing), added in some spectacular story writing and now I'm Hooked. Take your time releasing chapters because as much as I want to read them all now, i feel like this story is one to be savored so I will be patient. Keep up the amazing work! Cant wait for the next arc.
