Oh, I love the interactions of Elric Brother, Winry and Jeanne on the train. I'm also very worried about Hughes. I also want to know what Mustang is thinking and whether he will be involved as a master.

I finally caught up!

Great chapter as always, and definitely loving character interactions with the small hints at my main shipping lol.

I do have a couple comments to make, just personal thoughts:

-I do feel the conversations and flashbacks about Hughes felt a little too much, and I would consider sprinkling his references more sparingly on the story so it doesn't feel overused.

Just like Brotherhood does.

-Sometimes I felt Jeanne used too many kind and loving expressions on CH 17, and for moments it felt sort of unrealistic.

It's true that she is a very loving person and such, and there's nothing wrong with that (I still consider her best girl in series muahaha). However, sometimes showing only this part of her makes it feel 1D or a little plain.

Again, sprinkling this attitude a little more sparsely in her conversations and way of thinking, and including more aspects of her personality should solve this little hassle.

I would like to add that I found this pretty much only on chapter 17, so it's not a big deal for me.

Other than that...HERE'S MY FANBOY SIDE COMING UP!

In these chapters I've been reading lines of how Ed's servants are thinking about teaching the bois their knowledge, and also the possibility that they may learn mage craft...

If you could give me fights later on for Ed and Al that are longer and have some serious epicness I would die happily!

As much as I love brotherhood, I felt the fights and epic moments (fight-related), felt a little too short sometimes for the brothers, or that there could have been a bit more action before calling it.

(I would love to see a moment later on that feels like the 4th opening when Ed and Al deflect Pride's shadow attacks like bosses, probably with magecraft or something).

All in all, and I sound like a broken record, this was great and my body can't handle the hype for next chap.

I must say I like the way you are balancing a crossover. When I have read many crossover stories, I have faced many times the same problem. The crossover is imbalanced. Many times the story goes to direction where one side of the story is dominate. For examble in Harry Potter and Fate grand order crossover stories wichards' world is totally inferior toward grand order world and all wichards fail towards mages. One world is usually a playground to other world to crush it and show how inferior it is.
You are balancing things well. You are showing that alchemists' world and mages' world can see each others as equals where they can learn and suprise each others many way ns many times. I feared that you would have turned this story marge dominated stories where alchemist could only run and do nothing with their alchemy. But no. You have given both sides a chance to shine.
I must say, you are one of the best fanfiction crossover writers which I have ever seen.

Oh goodie another revelations dream, I do not know who are those 2 supposed to be though, but I am guessing them to be Red Master due to Francois being there. Btw, does Jeanne really hate Francois that much in canon? I know he is obsessed with making Jeanne in despair, but I never see Jeanne's view about him

I gotta be honest though, there are several stuffs I found unnecessary in this chapter:
1. We already have a lot of interaction between Jeanne and Hughes last chapter, I feel like there is no need to have another flashback about them this soon.

2. The scene when Ed explained his view on life with Jeanne and Tesla being impressed? Pretty sure we already have that several chapters ago. Maybe you could have Ed explain it to other servants or Magus such as Riley and Archer, but it feels unnecessary to repeat that with the same audience.

Speaking of other Magus, I think it is about time for the Elrics to meet one so exposition about how Magus lore and history in Amestris came to be could be done in the story. But, careful on using Fate series refference, do not just copy them instead try to build your own world for this fic.

I also saw several reviewer asking to ship Ed-Jeanne. I am not hardcore shipper but I feel like it is necessary for me to expalin this:
Winry for Ed is a symbol of how precious life is. During the scene when Winry want to kill Scar, Ed stop her saying that her hand is to save life, something really resonance with Ed's core. She is also a place where the Elrics could call home in Risenbool after they burned their house.

If you reallly want to pair them up, something important in Ed's development need to be changed from canon cause Jeanne while still a kind person is different than Winry. Just like how Shiro's connection with different girls make him have 3 different routes and development.

Somehow comparing them I could imagine 3 different fics:
1. In Exchange for Miracle : Jeanne Route
2. In Exchange for Truth : Riley Route
3. In Exhcange for Life/home : Winry route/Could also be applied to Caster's Homunculus route lol

Last bur not least how is Spacebattle forum? Did you manage to get other reviews? Your style is slow burn so probably people will get attached only after several chapters. I myself took 3 chapters to get interested in this fic.

AARRGGGHHH And here l thought we finally knows what happens to Hughes, you make us wait all this long and not telling us? But instead makes even more teaser? ARGGHH! l was excited over nothing then... plz tell us in next chapter.

This is a super duper fanboy question...but is there any chance we might see some Jeanne Edward later on, or would that be too weird? (Not well versed on the Narsuverse much tbh).

I do like Winry but after seeing the level of maturity and character from Jeanne, I think she is a much better fit for the monster of a protagonist that is Edward (assuming Jeanne could potentially be Physically of similar age to Ed).

Again, super fanboy question.

I went on to your profile and whatever way I looked at the fics I saw the fandoms of two fics as if they were the one fic, so I saw Fullmetal Alchemist & Dragon Age. Sadly I saw wrong. I don't suppose you have any interest in such a crossover, no worries if not.

I noticed Greed isn't listed as a master, if he ever does get a servant can it please be Queen Medb? She is one of the only Servants (the other being Archer Gilgamesh, to which I hope you do NOT give him, for the simple reason that hes way too OP to be given to a neutral side villain) as hedonistic as him without being a frivolous spender like the pirate Servants are (looking at you Francis Drake), to which a hoarder like Greed might not get along with.

I know "El Draque" whole shtick is the more "Wealth" she accumulates the stronger she gets, but the thing about that is due to her nature as a pirate "who spends money as fast as she makes it", (Her personal matto was "Gold coins should be used up like a storm" after all) she literally has to burn through her master's money whenever she fights, which is something I can't imagine Greed would be eager of doing, if at all.

But in the end its your choice, I'm still enjoying the story and looking forward to the next ch.

Update or I’ll drop a cookie into any glass containing liquid just imagine the terror the owner of the beverage will feel as the cookie sinks to the bottom of the glass becoming an uneatable soggy blob at the bottom of the beverage a shadow of its former glory just imagine their face twist in despair as they witness the cookie break apart at the bottom and as the crumbs float up to the top the victim of this war crime will never sleep but stuck in a sleep paralysis as their sleep paralysis demon morphs into a blob of chocolate ship and soggy cookie dough... do you want this to happen or will you update? Until then I must find my first victim.

Great story as usual and if Roy or Hawkeye get servants would Tomoe Gozen and Billy the kid be good choices. Tomoe for her Fire manipulation and her serving with her husband in his army in fate lore correct me if I'm wrong, Billy for his gun skills and his NP dose not need a lot of magic energy to use but it's your story I will be happy with what ever you do keep it up.

Hughes is definitely still alive right? I mean there's no body there. So maybe he accidentally called a servant or maybe he was helped by someone.
