... still here? I'm not interesting. Weird, yes. I'll claim weird, but not particularly interesting.

You don't give up, do you? All right, all right. Let us observe the Kat in her native environment: a messy computer desk that stands testament to how many similarities Kats share with your average magpie. Kats are a type of generally nice, if sardonic, writer-type demonic feline with a tendency to make the lives of various and sundry muses and characters interesting. In the "may your life be interesting" sort of way.

What is a Muse, you ask? When associated with a Kat, it is not an elegant woman wearing a toga. It's a character from one story that has decided to go pester the characters from another story. Kats are often seen with a cadre of Muses causing general havoc and discord in the general vicinity. Muses are not generally considered dangerous, unless you are unsettled by the sight of someone talking to people who are not physically there. This is generally accepted to be for the good, as the Muses have less claim to sanity than their authoress. That is to say: very little.

Aside from crazy ramblings, you'll find a list of my current stories below. Some shorter drabbles can also be found in my LJ, but I'm slowly moving them over here. I'm notoriously slow, unfortunately. And I tend to write things and then forget about them so they haunt my hard drive for months before I get around to sharing them. Getting better at clearing those out, though.

Most of the stuff I write is gen-fic with light fluff mixed in. It's not that I don't like romance, it's just that I'm not very good at writing it. So if you like plot or character-centric stories you're in the right place. If you're looking for lots of mush, smut, or wedding scenes, I'm probably not your authoress. Actually, check my favorites and you'll find that sort of thing written by people who know what they're doing better than I do.

I'm also a fan of the "What If". Even if I love the canon way something's done, grabbing it and running giggling into the night is my specialty, so expect to see a fair amount of it.

Blood Ties - Inuyasha
Chapter 9 - Initial clean-up has started. Wow, this one needs a lot of work. I will likely come back to this fic once "The Moriarty Gambit" is finished. I do still really like it, though, so I haven't given up hope.

Eye of the Beholder - Naruto
Arc 1: Complete!
Arc 2: Started!

Good Intentions Sequel - Detective Conan/Magic Kaito
Planning about 10-15 one shots to explore this 'verse a bit. Half of them have summaries or plot outlines, but no ETA on when they'll be done.

The Moriarty Gambit - Detective Conan/Magic Kaito
15 chapters will no longer cut it. I think it will be around 25. And about half of that is written. How a supposedly short fic is now flirting with 200,000 words, I do not know. These things just happen. Also, there might be a twist or six coming, and those are delicate to handle.

Just as an FYI, I am still working on this, pretty much daily, but I want to write a buffer of at least five chapters, and maybe just finish it off before I post the rest. It will come! It's just going to be a while.

Follow-up to "Alters When it Alteration Finds", Kenshin finds his first suffering masses to defend. I'm still figuring out how I want to write this. It may require more research than I currently have the time to do. Sadness, huh?

Demons' Blood - Harry Potter

Mmkay. I'm just going to make this announcement and leave it here. Make of it what you will. I don't know if I'll continue this story. Yes, I have a good idea of where I wanted the story to go. The problem is that I have a very difficult time writing Harry Potter fic in general. Too many bad memories involved. But I won't say I'm never going to touch this story again because that might not be true. Maybe I'll get the burning desire to write more. Maybe not. Don't hold your breath either way.
