I love Lev, Ben and Captain Jarnet! :) I love how you make Ben the voice or reason, a foil to Luke's recklessness but who can blame Luke with his father's distaste towards emotional attachment even for his only son?

I just couldn't stop reading this in one go (part 1 and 2!). Darth Vader attempting to be a father to a twelve year old is so interesting, funny, terrible, endearing and awful at the same time. It's a very well written story.

I love this story so much. But I just realized shoot chute. I've read this so many times and I literally never noticed. *shrugs* Just letting you know in case you wanted to fix it.

Going through a really rough time and re-reading this to make myself feel a little better. I enjoy how Vader's initial "oh well, I don't feel like dealing with Luke's casual manner right now, hopefully some else will take care of it or else I'll do it later" kind of non-attention ended up being the basis for his surprisingly lax disciplinary requirements for Luke once he did care enough to pay more attention to his son, which in turn allowed their relationship to become much better than it would have been if Vader had been gung-ho from the start.
