I am the one and only Evil Overlady. Hear my maniacal laughter! Mwah-ha-ha! I have been writing for over twelve years (which you can imagine has turned me maniacal). My stories: I prefer to do short pieces (There are novel-writers, like Vathara, and short-story-writers. I'm the latter.). My longest piece was a sixty-two page original sci-fi (which you can find on my FictionPress Shelf).

The most important part to a good story, in my opinion, is good dialogue. Take these favorite lines of mine for example...

Yu-Gi-Oh:
Yugi (flicks coin at door after Yami warns to check for traps first; coin gets zapped): "Checking for traps sounds like a good idea..."

Mokuba: Don't be mad, but I came here with Yugi and his friends. ...I didn't know who else to call.
Kaiba: Anyone but them!

Yami Yugi: Kaiba! Say something!
Kaiba: Don't screw up! Got it?

Viper:
Frankie: "Geez! Joe! You nearly scared my hair flat!"
"Come on, guys! Don't leave me holding the bag on this one! How do I explain this (the bullet holes)? Termites?!"

Gargoyles:
Elisa: "I think your head stays rock hard even at night."

Action Man:
Alex: "Time to stop screaming... now."
Rikki (stops screaming then looks): "Actually, time to start!"

Coach Grey: "It's on a need-to-know basis."
Alex: "Guess what? I need to know _now_." (Armed helicopter hovers in front of them) "Oh... Okay, maybe not right this second..."

NightWalker:
Shido: "Hey! Shame on you. It's not nice to pull out guns in the middle of a crowd."

Inuyasha:
Villager's daughter clinging to Miroku as a monster attacks: "I'm scared!"
Miroku (eyeing jealous Sango): "So am I, but not for the same reason."

Avatar: The Last Airbender:
Prince Zuko (looking at map): “How am I going to find him, Uncle? He is clearly a master of evasive maneuvering.”
Sokka (holding his own map): “You have no idea where you’re going, do you?”

7/6/10 - I fixed the scene breaks in "Dark Magic Rising." I didn't realize that they didn't translate.

10/31/14 - Happy Halloween! I uploaded two new Yu-Gi-Oh! "missing scenes." These were Christmas presents from last year, but I've had several requests from my fellow deviantArtists to upload them here as well. So, here they are. You can also find the AMV that the second story was inspired by on DailyMotion. Find me under the username evil0verlady (that's a zero, not an oh.) where you'll find the rest of my AMVs as well.

Currently in the works are two new Yu-Gi-Oh! stories, a continuation of my Dark Magic Rising series, and an AU that takes place entirely in ancient Egypt. You can catch a sneak preview on my deviantART page: http:///
