That was a great story. I love Norrington, and the idea of him and Jack working together is very cool.

I cannot coherently describe how amazing this story is.

The characterization, the pacing, the ending...*sigh* All so perfect. Loved it!

I just read Rennie1265's "A Spirit From the Vasty Deep" which you recommend at the end of this story and I have to say that yours is vastly better.

Nice story. I think that Jack was a little OC, at least as far as dialogue, but other than that I enjoyed it.

More specifically, Jack should be a little more snarky and he rarely ever talks completely straight.

I just loved Norrington and Jack's banter.

This was one of the best PoC story i have ever read! Most author's portray Norington as a bastard (and he is!) but managed to balance it with humor and an insight into both him and Jack that i have not seen matched.

I really like this story, I like the way you write. The emotions Norrington showed in this was very different than what we're used to from the movie. I'm a sucker for people showing emotions they normally don't show lol. I like how he felt sorry for Jack, and maybe a little guilty?

I think you should continue with the story, you could definitely go places with this. I know this idea is cheesy, but it could work:

You could continue with maybe Norrington being able to hear Jack's ghost, and so they hunt down whoever killed him? And you can have all kinds of obstacles, like Davy Jones (granted he is stil alive) or that Norrington's crew can;t hear Jack so they think Norrington's lost his mind. Maybe they'll mutiny?...

I would write it if I had time...I'm scared I'll mess it up tho...You know, the ghost ship reminded me of the young Jack Sparrow book series. His first mate's mother has a ship which has the ability to turn invisible. Not the same as a ghost ship, but watever.

Good story. I especially liked Norrington's parting line about keeping the Dauntless. :)

Oh this is lovely. I like how you've taken a death story but prevented it from being depressing. And I love Norrington's dry voice.
