He manages to survive by swimming to the surface, but there he meets Morgana, a girl who had saved him once before, and Arthur, the son of Uther Pendragon, the man who's life goal is to kill all creatures of the Old Religion. How is Merlin any safer up here? Features actual-merman!Merlin!

Only this time, he's not alone. Destiny said it was Arthur who was to die, not Merlin, so destiny's righting the wrong. How? By putting Merlin's soul inside a newborn babe for Arthur to care for.
