I swear you have some of the best concepts for merlin fanfics ive ever come accross!

Okay, this may be silly, but this is actually how I envisioned Arthur's reaction to learning that Merlin had magic, well, without the lamb. Surprised, irritated, hurt, irritated, disbelieving, irritated, and irritated (again). But never to the point of wanting to physically harm Merlin, or banish Merlin, or hate Merlin, or jail Merlin (well, maybe for a day or two, tops). Because I can see that deep down, Arthur loves Merlin (not in a slashy way, I just don't buy that), but in a little brother, puppy dog, forever friend way. Thanks for writing this story.

The whole thing seems a bit silly and perhaps debatable. Yes the lamb was innocent, it may have also been dinner. Merlin is not a vegetarian, although recognizing the vulnerability of an innocent being sacrificed unnecessarily has weight to it. The lamb seems more symbolic than literal, but then lambs are always more symbolic than literal. Thank you for posting!

As English is not my first language when I read lamb I began to look for another meaning of the word. When I finally realized this is a humor story I had to laugh at myself. Great story.
