Words...Do any of you know real the power of the written word? Words have the power to change a life, to change the world. Words can move people to start revolutions, and wars. Words can move people to change their way of thinking. Words can move people to change their whole lives. I believe in the strong power words have over the world, and that's why I love to read and write.
I have made this account to do what I love and to pay tribute to the stories that have changed so many lives. Because that's really what Fan Fiction is all about. Paying tribute. We're all worshipers of stories and writing Fan Fiction is our way to show that we love the stories that have changed our lives. Like ancient people offering food to the Gods, we offer our view, our twist, our version of a story as tribute. So this is for you, authors and screenwriters. We love you and we want to keep writing so we can write more.
Enough of this speech, I know you clicked on my profile to read about me! So here it is:
I'm in high school (not saying what grade in case you are one of those creepy-creeps that attack girls they found on-line). And to that fact, yes I am female, not like it matters...
I basically like reading crossovers the best, but I can handle a normal fanfic if it's REALLY good. No cheesy crap.
I hate:
Twilight (totally over rated and not worth the praise)
The fourth book of Maximum Ride (James Patterson totally could have done A LOT better)
Heat-90's to 100's (which is bad because I DO live in a, let's say, hot part of the country)
Being sick (who like being sick?)
Homework (the teachers' way to try to kill you)
Springs where its not really spring but an 'almost summer' (even fall feels like that sometimes)
Cheesy and sappy happy ending (unless they're done REALLY well)
Studying the same things over and over and over again (totally unnecessary, we got it the first time!)
Books and stories whose plots have been done over and over and over (why do we want to want to see people killed by a crazy AGAIN??)
When people put my story on Story Alert and don't bother to leave a review (it really ticks me off, so -hint-hint- DON'T do it!!)
And...well I could go on and on but for the sake of you dear person who has decided to read my rambling, I won't.
I love:
Doctor Who (such WONDERFUL screenwriting!)
His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman is a wonderful writer)
Harry Potter/J.K. Rowling (someday I will read those fanfics, but to tell you the truth I'm scared of what I might read...)
A bunch of other shows that I could name but it would take too long (ex: Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, House M.D., Lie to Me, Dead Like Me, Monk, ect.)
A bunch of other books but again it would take to long (ex: Maximum Ride first two, The Graveyard Book, Uglies series, The Book Thief, ect.)
Semi-sweet ending (they are usually WAY more original then what I call sappy happy ending)
End of the world movies/shows/books (don't ask me why, I just like them)
Trees (they just are pretty!)
Cats (loving, almost not maintenance, and cute, what more can you want?)
And...again I could type and type until the sun goes down (which is in like 6-7 HOURS) and still not be finished, so I'll stop here.
So, I find as my music listening goes on throughout the years that there are a few songs that describe some characters feelings from book or TV shows. Here are just a few that I've noticed:
1) It's All Your Fault -Pink=Tally's feeling towards David in Uglies
2) A Thousand Miles -Vanessa Carlton=Will's or Lyra's feeling after they are separated
3) On The Ride -Aly&AJ=Rose's and/or Donna's feelings about riding with the Doctor
4) Addicted -Kelly Clarkson=(Twilight sucks but I have to say what I noticed, I did read the first book after all) Bella's or Edward's feelings towards the other
5) Universe & U -KT Tunstall=Describing the Doctor through River Song's eyes
6) How Far We've Come -MATCHBOX TWENTY=Dec. 12, 2012 (okay not a book or movie or TV show-unless you count the movie 2012-but I just had to put it on, because it says it all)
7) Move Along -All-American Rejects=Someone's words to Lyra or Will, after they go back to their own worlds
8) Funnyman -KT Tunstall=The Doctor in Martha's POV
9) Wake Me Up When September Ends -Green Day=Will after the Amber Spyglass
10) Crazy -Gnarls Barkley=The Master's (DW) POV
11) Ready -Kelly Clarkson=Donna's POV waiting for the Doctor after 'Runaway Bride'
12) Drops of Jupiter -Train=Mickey's words to Rose while she's traveling with the Doctor
13) Oh! -Eric Hutchinson=Doctor's interactions with humans
14) Ordinary Day -Vanessa Carlton=Rose's/Amy's POV when she first meets the Doctor
15) White Bird -KT Tunstall=The Doctor through a companion's POV
16) Men of Snow -Ingrid Michaelson=The Book Thief
17) Shout -Tears for Fears=Crime and Punishment
18) Losing my Religion -R.E.M.=Crime and Punishment
19) Kryptonite -3 Doors Down=Jack's (Torchwood/DW) POV about Gwen
20) Iris -Goo Goo Dolls=Deryn's POV in the Leviathan series
21) Come on, Get in -KT Tunstall=The Doctor's POV with his companions
22) Diet Mountain Dew -Lana Del Rey=Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby
23) Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes -Paul Simon=The Great Gatsby
24) I'm Going To Go Back There Someday -The Muppets Movie=The Doctor post-50th
That's really all I have for know. But as time goes on, I know I'll find more. They're all really good songs by the way, and if you like any of those stories mentioned in the list, then you should look up the songs and find out why I choose them.

Some funny facts about Texas. Which by the way I live in (not telling what city, I stop at telling strangers the state I live in).
1)You switch from "heat" to A/C" in the same day.
2)You measure distance in minutes.
3)All the festivals across the state are named after a fruit, vegetable, grain, insect, or animal.
4)You know all the four seasons: Almost summer, Summer, Still summer, and Christmas.
4)Going to Wal-Mart is a favorite past time known as "goin' Wal-Martin'" or "off to Wally World."
5)You describe the first cold snap (below 70 degrees) as good stew weather.
6)You know the true value of a parking space is not determined by the by the distance to the door, but the availability of shade.
7)You go to the lake because you think it's like going to the ocean.
8)You listen to the weather forecast before picking out an outfit.
9)You know cow-pies are not made of beef.
10)You have known someone who has a belt buckle bigger than your fist.
11)You aren't surprised to find movie rental, ammunition, and bait in all the same store.
12)You have ever heard the conversation: "You wanna a coke?" "Yeah." "What kind?" "Dr. Pepper."
Okay some of these don't apply to Texas only, but they are still funny. Oh, and did you know that Dr. Pepper was invented in Waco, Texas? I bet you didn't know that. You learn something everyday, don't you?
So that's basically it. There's nothing really more I want to tell complete strangers about me. I'm sure I'll add more later, but for now...BYE!! =P
