I'm a girl in my early twenties, and I'm really into crime dramas. If you take a look at my favorited stories, you'll know that my favorite one is CBS's Criminal Minds ,but lately I've gotten into Blue Bloods as well. I enjoy anime, specially Fullmetal Alchemist, both series. Don't get on my ass. Both are very good. Anime I like from my childhood are Code Lyoko, which is actually French, but it's anime get over it, Digimon, season 1-4, Yuhioh, and Pokemon. I like thinks that make me think, that's why I like crime dramas. They aren't just show you sit back and not think. They leaving you questioning things, and possibly being freaked out by things. I Also love characters. They're the most important thing in a story to me. I can't enjoy a story unless I give a shit about who I'm following while reading the story. Another reason why I love Criminal Minds and Blue Bloods. The characters, and their relationship with each other, is what makes stories great. Although, the plot and world of a story are important too. For instance, Unwind by Neal Shusterman. I also really really enjoy reading, and Unwind is one of those books, that, in my opinion, like Criminal Minds, leaves you freaked the hell out, and with some really big questions lingering in your head. I'm also a big fan of, The Gatekeepers, by Anthony Horowitz. I remember when I ended the fourth book, and I was so mad because the last book wasn't out yet. That's a great series as well. Interesting characters, very intriguing, and serious, story, and, as far as I can tell, there aren't any plot-holes. Fantasy and Science-Fiction are great genres. They lead you into new world, and ask questions that you wouldn't otherwise ask, mostly becasue you would want to, but that's what I love about them. Now on to what I like in fanfiction. Of course I like good storytelling, and character writing, but there are some other things in stories that, although I don't think need to be said because I seem all the time while reading books, I'm going to mention them anyway because I feel like I should because I see people not using them way to much. Those things are periods (.) commas (,) and paragraphs. I don't read stories without these elements or when their not use right. I won't take the time to explain how to us them here, but please look up how to them, so your writing can improve. God luck. Me |
