Like always you have an awesome story here, very very well written. I'm ashamed to say I actually read it a while ago with plans to review later but just remembered I never got around to it... Better late than never right? Anyways, loved "The Danny Reagan special" LOL! Especially loved Jamie's comment about Danny going to kill him once he saw what his house looked like. Well at least the whole house wasn't trashed... :P The ending was perfect! After reading this really wished this had happened on the show... Thanks for sharing it and take care.

I love this so much. I really like the idea of putting Jamie there at the house and that making the difference between her getting taken. This was very well written. I felt Danny's fear for both Linda and Jamie-I was concerned for them myself! LOL. Linda's reaction was perfect-fear and some trauma, worry for Jamie, pride in him, and a need to see Danny. This is just wonderful.

This was great. I love how well you've weaved in the family dynamics with the characterization and the action. The Reagan's interconnectedness is one of my favorite aspects of the show and this fic worked it into every perspective, every scene.

It was awesome to see some exploration of the relationship between Jamie and Linda because we don't usually get that and it's a very interesting dichotomy. Linda has something of an outsider's perspective on Jamie but with all the emotional ties to him of a sister. It enables her (and through her, the reader) to see him shift from Little Brother to Capable Officer with a distinctiveness and clarity that either Danny or Erin might not have (simply because he's been Little Brother to them far longer).

The action scene with Jamie and the two assailants was very well-written. You could really feel the physicality of the scuffle and urgency of Jamie's worry, but everything within the scope of his training and clarity of mind. Linda's response and the dialogue she shares with Danny was terrific, gave great depth to -their-relationship.
