This was so good! I loved how you dealt with Reid's feelings toward being protected by Prentiss, and I really loved how you related it back to his experience with Tobias Hankel. Everything was so believable, and so incredibly written. Morgan's voice was spot on, along with Reid's. As I was going along, I could totally see this as a potential end to the episode. Kudos to you! This was absolutely fantastic!

Very good and well written story!

Truly atmospheric and emotional. A fitting tag with spot on characterizations and lovely prose. The depiction of Reid's frame of mind through his sensory input and experience was a perfect choice.

Your CM fic is outstanding. I guess I never reviewed this one, but having just watched a rerun of Minimal Loss, I ran straight here to re-read this. Always perfect characterizations. I wish you had a dozen more of these fics.

Awesome! I especially liked the Revelations throw-back, it never occured to me that Cyrus holding the gun to Reid's head like that could have brought him back to Georgia.

This was great, not overly anything. I liked how Morgan acknowledged that they all see Reid as innocent, even though it probably isn't true. It was a good insight into the team's dynamic. Also loved the way you wrote Hotch.

This was - I think another reviewer said it - quirky, but in all the right ways. I love the language you employed and the focus on gestures and atmosphere and dialogue instead of long unsightly exposition about their emotions. I could feel this. And I like what it says about Prentiss.

I've read in a few places where people assume her gesture was this calculated thing on her part - not really meant to protect Reid, but to manipulate Cyrus into trusting Reid. I, like you, feel Prentiss was actually risking death by speaking up. Though all on the team are obviously amazing profilers, she had no actual evidence that Cyrus wouldn't just turn the gun on her and kill her - he had no problem killing women - and to me it makes her gesture mean so much more. Encompassing all that I love about her character!

I'm a sucker for the Reid-Morgan friendship too, so I loved this all the way around. Thank you for sharing it with us.

That was one of the best Minimal Loss post eps I've read in a while. I think you nailed both Reid's emotions and Morgan's characterization really well :)

I love this story. Reid and Morgan's voices are so perfect that I can see and hear their dialogue like I'm watching the show. I loved this episode. The episode itself was complete, but I loved it enough to want more anyway. (I'm greedy like that.) I loved the fact that Emily got to play hero to Reid, and then Reid, in turn, got to play a sort of hero too. And then, of course, Morgan got to save the day. Because he's Morgan.

I'm not sure I agree that there's too much honey in this story, but maybe that's because I'm a sucker for really good Reid/Morgan interaction. Most people interpret their relationship as slashy and sometimes I'll agree, but not always. I like this story's portrayal of their relationship. Nicely done. Love it.
