12/16/11 - Meet Loki! He's my new beagle baby!

*7/5/13* - UPDATE - I figured I should pop by this profile page and let everyone know that I have not died. I have, however, had a rather...busy year. Or 18 months, more accurately. I will not go into all the details here, but suffice it to say, life has not left much time (or energy) for writing. That's not to say that I've given up. I haven't. I'm just stuck right now. Free time is scarce and precious. But I realize I've left all my readers hanging, so I can say at this point that I will TRY to get a new chapter up this summer.

For those who continue to read and review, offering much needed encouragement, I thank you.

7-27-20-Chapter 16 of DIDDTU? will be posted within a day or so, and i have chapter 17 outlined with a rough draft about 90% completed. i think it's safe to estimate that the story will be completed early August. Chapter 34 of Evolution is already in the works. Keep an eye out for updates to Evolution in August 2020

3-21-20-Chapter 10 of DIDDTU? posted. As I approach the final chapters, I’m considering cross-posting to AO3. MA is against the rules here, and i really don want my account or stories removed.

4/26/11-Shadow's age finally caught up to her. She was about 16 1/2 years old. I miss her very much already. I debated changing the Avatar, but I decided that I'll keep it as a tribute. After all, my LJ Avatar is my Beagle Floyd who I lost 9 years ago. There's an upside, I suppose. Shadow and Floyd finally get to be together again, because I believe, if there is a heaven, all dogs must be there. And Shadow and Floyd loved each other dearly.*

I am a victim of the voices in my head. They plague me until I write. They are my only escape from the tedium that is real life. Sometimes I think they are driving me mad. I write because the stories haunt me. I never really thought much about sharing them, but am glad I did. I love feedback but I write either way.

9/3/12 - FFXIII stories are all AU of, but focused on, the original game. I have not played XIII-2 and have no interest in it at this point.

Chapter 32 was finally posted and I'm working on Chapter 33. I have the rest of the story outlined and am hoping to finish the story in 4 more (long) chapters. That may go up to 6 or so, but the end is in sight. I'm hoping the story will end in the vicinity of 300K words.
Do I Dare Disturb the Universe? - As I've said before, there are 4 more chapters or so (I am never able to be concise when writing much to my disappointment) of that, as well. At this point, I'm looking to push to the end of Evolution, so I don't know when I'll get the rest of DIDDTU completed. But it will be completed. If the bug to write this one bites me, I'll get to it. But right now, I'm in an Evolution frame of mind.
The Second Coming - Believe it or not, I actually have most of Chapters 2 and 3 drafted up, but I will not complete or post them until ONE of my other two active stories is completed. I apologize to my readers for this delay. Life has been a Pain in the Butt! lately and delayed completion of stories for far too long.

And I can't believe I have to write this, but here it goes - None of my stories may be taken without obtaining my permission and offering credit. Links to my LJ or my posted works are fine, recs are always appreciated, but my works may not be archived unless I know where they are going. PM me, drop me a message on LJ, send up smoke signals - whatever works. I will always try to be accommodating.

3/6/20 - Apparently, it’s been 6.5 years since I’ve logged into my fanfiction.net account. Holy wow! I have good news and bad news. The good news is: I’m not dead; the bad news is: I’m not dead. I am not going to bother listing all the myriad ways that life curb stomped me since my last updates. They happened, and I think I’ve reached a point where I would like to at least finish my decade old projects. I expect that most of my readers have long since moved on to newer fandoms, but I promised years ago that I would finish, and so, I will try. Please bear with me as I will have to recreate all in progress chapters, and attempt to unearth all outlines and notes.

Thank you to all who have read my stories, and have commented over the past half-decade. I’m deeply humbled by your kind words.
