This story and all your stories are truly amazing with the authentic characterisation, excellent world building and tantalising plots. The way you balance angst and humor in your fics is outstanding and Elanor calling Gimli 'bush' had me laughing out loud. Your knowledge of Tolkien lore is extensive and makes for very realistic and effective world building. I was a lurker but your stories have drawn me out of hiding and I want to thank you for all the effort you have put into these fanfics.

I don't know if you will even read this considering it's been 15 years since this story has been updated but if you do, it would be really appreciated if you finished your uncompleted fanfics and put my heart to rest. Or even an outline of what was going to happen would be good. I'm willing to take anything I can get.

To end my rambling, I would just like to say thank you for your exceptional stories and I cling on to the hope you will one day finish them in the (preferably near) future.

So I’ve been staring at this story for...probably about eight years, resisting the urge to read it because it was unfinished. I caved tonight. You realize you left this story on a terrible cliffhanger? Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that even unfinished, this story didn’t disappoint. Excellent premise, and excellent world-building. I realize there’s probably no chance of any further updates, but still, great story.

Interesting fic-will you ever be updating it?

I like drama between Legolas and Thranduil but this story bashes the king so much (from almost every character), that it's down right sad. Now you have me rooting for the underdog. From what I gather, Thranduil has faced great misfortune and loss in his life, and it's sad that his experiences are bashed and ridiculed by everyone who doesn't think like him. I don't think you're doing justice to him and you simply expect us to side with the popular mentality.

Excellent story- I hope you will finish it & not leave us hanging!

It would have been fantastic if you finished this, but I'm not certain you will, since it's been 10 years since you've updated this. Nevertheless, t'was a fantastic story, and should you ever find the urge to continue it, I'd be happy to read the rest!

Feanor had seven children. None among the Eldar had so many and certainly not more. You have given Thranduil eight. I am not trying to be rude. I love your story and wish that you would finish it. I would beg if I thought it would do a bit of good. But for one so well-versed in Tolkien canon, I find it disappointing that you do not know this. I like that you give Legolas siblings. I really do. But it is inaccurate to give him so many. By canon, Thranduil cannot have more than six children. I hope that this will be resolved. May you continue to write wonderful stories...and hopefully finish this one.
