Author has written 62 stories for Bones, Doctor Who, and Monkees. Hello! Long overdue for an update...again... Many changes have taken place in my life...some of which put an end to my fic writing for months at a time. However, I have finally started to write again on a more regular basis and have added tried my hand at writing in some new fandoms. So I hope to go back to adding more fic to this page from time to time. I have an alternate account on this site under the name Roschelle Templar if anyone is interested. It includes fic from Final Fantasy VII, City Hunter, Father Brown, All Creatures Great and Small, and numerous smaller fandoms in the near future. Additional Note: All finished fic from this account will be cross-posted to my AO3 account under the same pen name. Also, if there is any unfinished fic that I started here that I'm working on again, it will also be cross-posted. Shorter ficlets that I wrote separately for AO3 will be collected together in a multi-chapter fic at some point. Stay tuned... I haven't decided what to do with unfinished fic that I have started here or on AO3 that I am not currently working on. For the moment, if I start a fic here or on AO3 and put it on hiatus, it will only appear in the account I started it on. For readers of my Bones fic I know that it has been a long time since I have last posted any updates and I sincerely apologize for that. At the time I stopped writing, the only fandom I wrote fic for was Bones and while I still have a nostalgic fondness for that show, I found it incredibly difficult to write for that show due to changes in the show itself and some unwelcome toxicity in certain sections of the fandom. Despite all that, as a long-time fanfic reader, I do realize how frustrating it is to enjoy stories that never get finished, and as a writer, it bothers me to leave things undone. Sadly, my strange, mercurial moods and muse have made it so that I have unfinished work on two accounts. So, I fully intend to finish as many of my old Bones fic as I can. That means I will be working on the fic in this account at some point, although I can't say exactly when that will be. However, there is one main caveat. If I was numerous chapters away from finishing a fic, there is a strong chance that it may never be completed. The list of fics this applies to include: The Recovery in the Nocturne , The Break in the Ties, The Observations of the Friend, The Season in the Shadows, and The Gloaming of the Soul. I haven't decided what to do with these fics: if I should just leave them up or take them down since they won't be finished. Feel free to send me a PM if you have an opinion one way or the other. For readers of my Doctor Who fic This is a fandom that I tend to wax and wane on, but I find myself always returning to it. So chances are, all fic from this fandom will be finished eventually. Two and Six are my Doctors, so expect most of my fics to revolve around one (or both) of them. Over time, I've also grown to love Three and most recently Five as well, so there will be more fic including them in the future. Still, I haven't seen a Doctor yet that I didn't like, so don't be surprised if fic for one of the other ones pops up at some point. My fic by Doctor is as follows: 2nd Doctor -Edge of Schism -Four Faces -Irrational -In its place (Season 6B) -In Inceptum Finis Est (Season 6B) 6th Doctor -Parallax -Four Facets -Dubhar (due to being centered on The Two Doctors, crosses with 2nd Doctor fic) -The Crystal Labyrinth (Season 23B) 3rd Doctor -What Lies Hidden -Where the Path Leads 5th Doctor Will be coming soon... What is Season 23B? -Season 23B is my answer to what might have happened after Season 23's Trial of a Time Lord series. First off, you had the Sixth Doctor back to being companion-less due to Peri being forced to leave under murky circumstances and Mel needing to be returned to her proper place in her time line. However, I don't think the Doctor dismantled the Valeyard's plot against him and remained completely unscathed. I think that he was left with a lot of doubts over his capacity to hold back the darkness inside him and over Peri's actual fate. Plus, we know that the Valeyard managed to escape at the end, and thus, could cause problems for him in the future. Added into this mix, you have Jamie McCrimmon who was recently returned to Scotland by the Second Doctor after spending several years traveling with him in the service of the CIA during the time-line of Season 6B. Jamie thinks that he won't see the Doctor for a long time, if ever. But then a TARDIS shows up near his home and there is an unexpected visitor... Having been reunited, I picture a scenario where the Sixth Doctor ends up traveling with Jamie this time, the two of them having many adventures as the Doctor is given a chance to recover from his recent hardships and Jamie has another chance to travel with the Doctor without having to worry about the CIA. And thus, Season 23B comes into being... Monkees Stories This was a fandom that I got into during my hiatus from posting fic to fic sites. While I'm not currently working on new stories, there's always a chance I'll be inspired to come up with something else. In the meantime, I will be posting my collection of completed Monkees fics to this account. Thanks again to all who have read and/or reviewed my fic and who have supported me as a writer. I know that I can never thank all of you enough and I sincerely hope that some of my long time readers will support my future updates and that I can entertain some new readers in the future. All for now. |
