Great start to this story. Just a couple of observations. First, I think the team member’s reactions to the photos went overboard. Sure, Reid would be overwhelmed and tearful thinking the team might be dead as he headed to the BAU. however when the team sees the photos, knowing they are all presently safe and accounted for, they would be extremely concerned but since they have seen the most horrific things in reality, knowing these photos were fake, Hotch would not have thrown up and Seaver would not have fainted. They are tougher than that. Also, Reid would not have opened the second envelope without gloves. They would want to examine for fingerprints on the photos. Beyond this, I’m enjoying your story.

I liked it, up until u brought Emily into the torture part. Only really read Hurt Reid as I prefer emotionally hurt Team. But it was an amazing story, the writing was amazing and it flowed very well :D Keep up the great work :D

well i dont think hotch would react that strongly but reids reaction (especially when he hugs hotch unexpectedly) is beautiful! And this is an awesome beginning to a story drew me right on in.

I liked it, especially because unlike a lot of authors, you pictured Reid as a fighter, and he is one in the show, same for Prentiss. I read a lot of CM fics about one of the team being kidnapped, and they often picture them as really weak (Reid or any other of them). Plus the idea of people avenging Tobias's death was good. I just wish we know what happened to all of them, but I guess they suffered, so it's okay.
