I've been a lover of words all my life--written, read, spoken. The stories you will find here represent my first foray into fiction. I'd always thought I was too fussy a writer to do it for fun, but I've enjoyed it far more than expected, and especially when it becomes a dialogue between the writer and the reader.

Consider this a blanket disclaimer: All of the main characters were conceived by their respective show's creators, given depth by the show's writers, and brilliantly inhabited by the actors who portray them. I only borrow them from time to time.

A second series is comprised of two stories, The Clone and Consequences. These tell what happens when Reid is taken up on his challenge to the congressional subcommittee after the Ian Doyle case. "If you want to punish someone, punish me."

A third 'semi-series' is comprised of two stories, The Imposter and Inconsequential. These were written in response to a noticeable lack of Reid in several seasons of the televised series.

The fourth short series starts with Before I Sleep, and continues with And When I Wake, as Reid tries to emerge from his despair after the death of Maeve.

For NCISLA:

Most recently, I've become captivated by the character of Marty Deeks, LAPD detective from NCIS Los Angeles. Just as all of my CM stories revolve around Reid, I'm pretty sure all of my NCISLA stories will revolve around Deeks.
