This was a tragic story, I saw it again just recently. I wish to heaven adults today would stop blowing off bullying as part of growing up, they get over it, they learn to deal with it. One of my friends was very overweight throughout his school years. When those kids went on a killing spree in Colorado, he told me he understood exactly how they felt. Kids today are turning into killers like Owen, or they commit suicide to get free of their tormentors.

That was a tragic episode and Reid wss right to blow up at the local yokels. Kids get bullied they learn to deal with it, whatever asshole excuse they made for justifying their inaction. I cried as that played out, with Reid understanding exactly what it felt like to be Owen. Glad he had Morgan in your story.

I loved Hotch here. I love it when he uses his profiley powers for good, and that he knew Reid needed Morgan. EM is a favorite Hotch and Reid episode of mine. I don't know if you noticed but in the scene on the street, when they're arresting Owen, Hotch puts his hand or Reid's back, like he's just checking he's okay, but his expression is more angry and worried and Reid is totally looking right back at him, like "yeah, I'm sorry I worried you." This one-shot seems to fit with that same sentiment. A worried Hotch and a Hotch who doesn't want Reid slipping back. And I think Reid is way more like Hotch than Hotch wants him to be, because Hotch lets his emotions drive him to do stupid things all the time. And, in short, I really liked this and could see it fitting right in to the episode.
