Yeah hi. So I was a little confused by parts of this. If they are just meeting Scar for the first time (which because he has just murdered Nina this is) then they SHOULD NOT KNOW about the homunculi yet. Scar is nearly killed by them later in season one, and the Elric do not meet any of the homunculi until the Fifth Laboratory, which they got by deciding Dr. Marcoh’s research notes, which they didn’t gain access to until they returned from having Ed’s automation fixed after FIGHTING SCAR FOR THE FIRST TIME. Therefore, the Elric don’t even know about the main ingredient within a Philosopher’s Stone yet, and are almost wholly ignorant. They didn’t actually know that those who bore the ouroborous tattoo were homunculi until Greed introduced himself at the end of season one. Therefore, they shouldn’t understand the reference when Scar says the Siren reminds him of Lust - he shouldn’t even know to make that reference. Sorry but it just annoyed me.

scar started with revenge on state alchemists -murderers in his mind. he wouldnot team up with people obviously killing people randomly.

...Errr...both versions of Scar would kill those two killers the moment they admitted that they were killers.

You should be trying harder :), there isn't an evil bone in Scar's body. He's driven by rage and a generalised desire for vengeance with an 'ends justify the means' mentality.

You know what the teams never do? Call the German embassy to notify them of unknown German citizens. Blond hair, blue eyes, german speaking (Amestris is basically Germany, and when Edward ended up in London at the end of the first anime the only person he talked to was his father, then Shambala is set in Germany...they speak German) and german names...you can't get more German than that...it never seems to cross their minds.

I loved this. It's one of my all time favorite fanfics and I can't wait to see the sequel! Personally I would like to see what would happen I'd they went back to the bau, but sense you mentioned death note it would also be awesome to see them on the Kira case...
