I absolutely am in love with this story. The way you wrote it makes it possible for me to see it in my mind.. if that makes any sense. I am so glad that I found this story while I was finishing my finals, it helped me relax and really read it.
Normally, a problem I have with stories is that they don’t capture my attention fully, I skip over sentences to read parts that catch my eye. And I can say, with complete confidence, that I have not skipped a single sentence in this entire 50 chapter story. Thank you so much for writing this.

Is it just me or had Kaiba been awfully... normal? Or civil. Or even humble. You can even argue he’s being kind. Oh heck even him letting manners get in way of his pride is rather extremely worrying. Like if the sky will rain red.

I'll admit I wasn't all that enamored of this based on the summary. Post-magic sans dueling Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't really feel the same. But it sucked me in and never let go. Top tier all around.

This arc makes me ship Seto/Akiko.

If you’re not writing professionally right now, or at least doing freelance writing, you are wasting one hell of a talent. I can not tell you how unbelievably good this is, and honestly at some points I forgot I was reading a yugioh fanfic and not a novel. You are an amazing writer. For certain, that could have gone much, much worse, especially if Seto was still the person he used to be. Of course, if he was that person, Matt would be in a grave now, or worse.

Though speaking of grudges, some things definitely go too far and cut too deep to be easily forgotten or forgiven. I completely agree with that.

I held onto grudges for a while, but as time went on...they just weren't worth the energy. I'm not sure I would ever be friends with some of those people, but I don't hate them anymore.
