I live in Italy, but I'm stuck in Forks. Like a lot of people, I have noticed. Thank you to all the fantastic writers here at FanFiction for keeping me in Forks (and MANY other places as well!) – and thank you SM for getting us all started.

I am omnivorous, I love it all: Canon, AU, AH, crackfic, slash, angsty and fluffy, happy or sad. As long as there is a message in there somewhere, in well-written prose, I'm all for it. We are here to have fun. If I don't like a fic, I move on to the next. There are several hundred thousand fics to choose from, so why get stuck on one that clearly doesn't do it for me? If I like a WIP I follow it and tend to review every posted chapter. (If I really love your story, I will follow you to twitter and love you there too.) If it is a finished story, I usually devour the whole shabang before reviewing. If I don't like it? I walk away, without reviewing. I have no patience for useless bashings.

Here on fanfiction, you are all so inspiring that I have decided to have a go myself. My first one-shot was a part of the Slash/Backslash 3.0 contest. It didn't make it in the contest, (there were 48 excellent entries there!) But it did win a fabulous award from Newton's Olympic Outficcers (twificpics com/newtons/2011/10/slash-round-up-aug-sept-2011-part-2/)– for Best Imprint (of a writer's cheek.) Needless to say, I am over-the-hil-excited, and gobsmacked by that one! Thank you, ladies, you made my day. Month. Year. That one-shot (Come Hither) has now been rewritten as an exercise in voice from male to female, which is also posted below, under the name of Come Straight Here - Come Hither in a New Costume. If you don't enjoy slash, that's the one you should be reading. Take a look at my story about Leah, Permission to Research. Leah is a sadly under-utilized character in the fandom. I wanted her feisty, head-strong and happy. She gets a rotten deal in canon, I try to make her days happier. All human. Very much so. I know you all want to read about Edward and Bella, but there are more characters in the series... Try this one on for size. Really. Or, if that doesn't do it for you, try out My Little Sister, all in Jasper POV of the brilliance of his new little sister Bella. All my stories are one-shots and short, so I won't keep you long.

I am a translator, but I do not want to translate any of your stories into any now spoken or written language in the world, as I thoroughly enjoy the written word in its original state – I know how misleading translations can be. So I do tractor manuals, ok? That's all. I try to make sure there is a tractor somewhere in my stories, so you can all have fun pointing it out to me. And no, Please do not ask me if you can translate these stories. See above. If I wanted the story in another language, it would already be in that language. Thank you, but please, no.

Now that I see people around me pulling stories, disappearing, backing out of the fandom, I want to take a moment – before all the old authors are gone, and only new blood is left – to thank all of you who have gifted me with your words. Saving my life. Many times over.

June 3rd, 2013: As you can see, nothing has been updated here on my profile for a long time. I've left Twilight behind, and in case you want to follow me, I can be found in my new home over on AO3 - where pictures can actually reside within the story.
