Author has written 60 stories for Star Wars, White Collar, Avatar: Last Airbender, Castle, Person of Interest, House, M.D., iZombie, and Old Kingdom/Abhorsen series. The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins-but in the heart of its strength lies weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back. Love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars. (M.Stover, ROTS) About me: I'm twenty five years old female, currently getting my PhD in organic chemistry. My newest joy is scaring little first year students with obscure equations, lengthy homeworks and nasty tests; and then torturing them some more in the laboratories (just kidding :D ). But seriously, guys - if you pour sulfuric acid over your hands, do NOT walk around for twenty minutes looking for your teacher with the acid still on your skin - trust me, the results aren't pretty. Just wash it under water quickly and you'll be as good as new. It's called common sense. About fanfic: I always loved thinking about the "what if's, so I was delighted when I discovered there was a thing called "fanfiction" at the age of fifteen, and I've been writing ever since. My first stories were all in the Harry Potter fandom and I still occasionally visit it from time to time; I love my Weasleys, Potters, Lupins and Blacks, and if there is one thing I dislike in this fandom, it's the character bashing that seemed to be popular a while back. If you find a great story with Harry-Ron(-Hermione, Neville, Luna...) friendship, or a well-written Harry/Ginny with a plot, feel free to let me know :) After a while I mostly moved on to the Star Wars fandom, and then for the past few years, my new love has been White Collar. My favorite stories usually include friendship, angst and a moderate amount of adventure; I love AUs, case fics and heist fics, humor and drama. Oh, and timetravel, because it's so much fun to watch these characters do it "better" the second time around, only to mess it up in new ways. Awwww, boys. About writing: Like most people, my life is busy. Writing is something I do because I love it, but finishing stories, cleaning them up and posting them is a different matter altogether - it can be tedious and frustrating. So please, if you like a story, leave a review. It gives us writers those warm fuzzies that keep us here :) Regarding my story Inevitable, it's currently on hiatus. I do want to finish it, but it's not exactly a happy, light or fast-paced fic that would practically write itself. OTOH I did finish the sequel to Conspiracies, which I'm very proud of, both the story and the accomplishment. If you want some Mozzie-Neal-Peter friendship and don't mind the AU settings, go and read it :) |
