Excellent story! it is not overdramatic (many many stories fall into this) and not underdramatic (not seen often if at all in HP fandom)... It hits the sweet spot of Believable and that is NOT an easy thing to do.

Since Sirius was never convicted, he wouldn't need a pardon, nor an exoneration. He simply needs to be released. He does need recompense, though, for all the years he was illegally incarcerated.

What? The previous chapter, where Kingsley almost caught Sirius, was dated December 4. Now this chapter is dated November 12, which is before Sirius escaped from Azkaban. Yet Remus is thinking about how Sirius was seen with Harry? You're confusing me, and I'm pretty sure any other reader who's paying attention to the dates as well.
