It's true that there are a lot of Vader/Padmé angst pieces, but I think this one is really well done. I like the almost poetic form, with the line "He loves her..." repeated like a refrain, and once again, a powerful ending.

This was a really good piece of writing! Really touching and realistic. I thought you captured Vader really well!

Oh that was wonderful! I loved the story, and all the examples of when he wanted her with him and he didn't want her to know what he was. And I love that both of the children are mentioned in the story, and how Padme has lived on through both of them, and Vader (Anakin!) has to finally face up to what he has done because Padme is watching him through the eyes of his children and he does not want her to see what he has become.
