![]() Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Hello! I'm midnight989, though you can call me Mid if you want. :) I'm not that exciting of a person really, I'm a graphic design major at a college in the middle of nowhere, Maryland, USA. I am obsessed with all things British, especially Harry Potter and Doctor Who. I recently discovered The Mighty Boosh and the general awesomeness of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. Basically, I've come to the conclusion that I live on the wrong side of the pond. So just a warning, if I ever manage to get a plane ticket over there, you're never going to be able to get rid of me! I love reading all sorts of fanfiction pairings, but for the most part I avoid canon. Why? Because I feel like the original writers who created the characters already got them perfectly, and I want to see something completely different! (That, and I just really love seeing Hermione with Fred, and the 10th Doctor with Donna. Guilty pleasures, really...) But that doesn't mean that I don't dislike canon pairings or that I won't read or write canon pairings myself! They're really quite lovely. And I'm rambling, aren't I? Sorry about that... For anyone wondering for whatever reason, here are my favorite pairings to read and write about: Harry Potter: Hermione x Fred (I refuse to accept that Fred died.) Hermione x George (For the days when I can be persuaded that Fred's off on a business trip for a really long time) Ron x Luna Harry x Ginny Ron x Lavendar Hermione x Charlie Neville x Luna Hermione x Lupin (But only if it's a time story! Stories with their regular age gap kind of creep me out a bit, sorry) Harry x Luna Bill x Fleur Doctor Who: 10 x Donna 10.5 x Donna 11 x River Song Amy x Rory 9 x Rose Captain Jack x Ianto Captain Jack x Everybody The Mighty Boosh: Vince x Howard Vince Howard (because you can't have enough stories best friends!) Naboo Bollo Sherlock: Sherlock x John Mycroft x Lestrade I'm still kind of new to writing fanfiction, so if there are any requests that you have, or suggestions, or whatever, I'd love to have them! My first story, Not Coming Out, is an all-dialogue, but most of my stories are quite the opposite. Dialogue is one of the hardest things for me to write, which is why I challenged myself to write a story using only dialogue. I'll definitely try to do more like that in the future, but I'll probably write a lot more with narrative in them, since I'm more comfortable with that. A HUGE thank you goes out to anyone who has taken the time to read what I write, and an even bigger thank you goes out to all of you who have reviewed, favorited, or added me to their alert list. I can't even begin to describe how much it means to me when I see that other people have seen what I have written, and even more when you actually like it! So, THANK YOU. All of you. You mean the world to me, and I love you all, you wonderful, awesome people you. |
