Just so awesomely sweet and so in character. i loved the ending; it wasn't cheesy or overly dramatic; he was just so happy and in a daze - sure, he'd get angry later, furious even - but when a beloved is returned your way, it's just - ecstatic! (i would imagine). I loved it all. And I too do not get the Myc/Sherlock r'ship.

Aww...i love angsty John so much. And I love love love John-Sherlock text fics the most; all that angst and longing and questions ; oh - just adorable. I felt this John was really in character, especially the Greg/Mycroft ponters. I watched The Hobbit yesterday and seeing Martin Freeman brought back such strong Sherlockian feels I had to go read a Sherlockian-themed fanfic just to please my longings hehe and this is the first I read after the movie. Awesome stuff. And I love the Irene Adler inspired title. Fits perfectly.

I liked it. You left it open in regards to their relationship, but the deep affection and loss came through. Of course, you also made events seem much closer together than they probably were meant to.

That was actually kind of spooky.

I always wondered if Mycroft knew Sherlock wasn't dead. Then I thought, 'Practically runs the government, keeps track of finances, has a very large spy network...how could he NOT know?"

I love your writing. This story is so good. The texts are so sad. Chapter 4 is my favorite. Love that last line so much.

Oh my goodness, I loved this so much. You write the characters so well. Both Mycroft and Sherlock are spot on. Plus the emotions from John were so real. You wouldn't expect Holmes to be "emotional" but it was great balance of emotion plus in his mind what would be logical responses. Also, the reunion at the end was amazing. All around, great story. Thank you! :)
