Who am I?
Hi, I'm Lynx, occasional writer, usually reader of fanfics. I'm very fond of canon, so I try to be as believable within the range of what JKR gave us. I do stray from time to time though... (yes, very naughty!) I'm technically not a native speaker, but I did grow up in London before my family moved to another country... By which I mean, the few Americanisms that do sneak into my work through years of consuming American culture, I try combing out with the help of a Britpicker.

I also now have tumblr, it's (surprise) thelastlynx(dot)tumblr(dot)com, in case you're interested in my very boring self. Other than that, you can find me in (all?) the facebook Dramione groups. Since the great tumblr debacle of 2018, I also have a twitter. Over there I'm @TheLastLynX.

Concerning Concrit
(tl;dr: yes, please!)

I only very recently got into fanfiction, so I did not know that as a reader you only leave constructive criticism in a review if the writer allows it. Since I have a background in academia, it actually never occurred to me that concrit could be unwanted. Thus, if you like to offer constructive criticism, I'm all for it. I believe my writing can only grow through feedback that tells me what does and what does not work. A clear and well-argued opinion goes a long way in making a writer think about the way they approach things. That doesn't mean, however, that you need to leave me essays (though the Ravenclaw in me definitely appreciates them!). A simple "liked this and that" or "thanks for posting" will also make me open that WIP document right away. x
